The first installment of Sergei Eisenstein's epic two-part biography of the notorious 16th Century Tsar arrives on DVD in this edition. Ivan the Terrible, Part 1 has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and the audio is mastered in PCM Mono. The soundtrack is presented in the original Russian with optional English language subtitles.
