I was really surprised at how cute this toy was. I really did not have high expectations for this toy but my son LOVES it! I was really satisfied in the quality of it as well. When the spyglass lights up and you look through you can see captain hook. It is a really neat toy and my four year old has a blast with it. The headband is a lot better quality than I would have expected as well! Overall it is a great toy!
I bought this for my grandson who had seen it at his cousin's birthday party & loved it. The "talking" keeps the attention of younger kids, plus they can "spy" through it.
Our 4 yr old grandson loves Jakes and the Neverland Pirates. We ordered this product plus Buckey. I personally don't like the talking on the spyglass, honestly it should just be a spyglass. But since it is all the company had in the way of this, we ordered it. Price, price should be less but since it talks, guess is the reason for it??? Other than that, kids love these type of things. Christmas is right around the corner, so once he opens and uses. That will be a great time to give rating based off him.
Our great grandson enjoyed this very much. It's a fun toy for a toddler.
Great gift for any child my granddaughter loves it; the maps are easy to rip so I had them laminated
Grandchild has only had it 24 hours but seems to really enjoy the product. can't say it is a "learning tool" but it is good to encourage imagination!
It was a gift for my grandson for Halloween to go along with his costume. And I am so happy to know that he will be using it often. He loves it! It talks, it comes with an easy use bandana and a treasure map. He is so proud of it he shows it to everyone. It was definitely a hit for this 2 1/2 year old and will be for some time to come!
The telescope is not very useful. After a few minutes of play it seemed to get tossed in the corner. The bandana is a different story; that gets a lot of use. But, for the money, the telescope/bandana is not a toy I can recommend.
I bought this for my 4 yr old. It isnt really a telescope, it only says a few lines and Captain Hook is in the end of it. When the button is pushed it says something and then a light comes on where you can see Hook. I thought He would love it since he loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates, but I think he is even disappointed. Headband is cheap and map is paper. If I could go back, I would not have bought it, too much money, not enough toy.
my 3 year old grandson loves the spyglass and really enjoys the bandana that came with it. It is not a very good spyglass to actually see distance, but not a toy type either.
