I got this at the black friday sale then used it Saturday morning for breakfast. It makes a nice thick, fluffy waffle, I do wished it beeped but for $10 I can't complain, It takes a little less than 1 cup batter per waffle. Only complaint so far is I should have bought 2 so I can make more waffles at a time.....Julie
This is such a great product!! If your ever going to have a waffle maker this is the one for you!!! so easy to use & clean makes amazing waffles ...got to love it!! YUMMMMMMMMMMMY!!!

We got this waffle maker at a fantastic price on Black Friday in 2010. It lasted a little over a year before it developed a crack in the turning section, and this weekend it completely broke making it practically useless. While it wasn't broken, it was a fantastic value and we would have given it a 5 star rating, but considering we can no longer use it....
I received this as a birthday gift in 2015. Tried it and didn't work. Followed directions but did not get hot at all. Oster Co was kind enough to send me a new replacement. It worked once for 5 waffles. I turned it back on to do more the next day but it never got hot no matter what temperature I switched the dial on. Just stays green light on all the time. Sorry Oster but this is not a good waffle maker and you should stop selling this make. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased this waffle maker and it worked well for a while, but the last two times I've used it the waffle separates and each side sticks to the plates. I ended up scratching the non-stick surface by trying to pry the waffle out from each side, so now I can't use it at all. Also, the ready light doesn't always work.
I received this as a Christmas gift and when I tried to use it today, it did not work like explained. First, the green light would randomly go on and off. It would stay green after I put in the batter and then turn off like a minute later. Another minute later and it would go back on. My second issue is the waffle never became crispy or brown on the outside. I attempted 3 waffles and none of them became brown on the outside. I had on maximum temperature for a long time. The last one was over 10 minutes and instead of crispy the waffle was soft and soggy. Gross. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
