I've had my Extreme 2 for about 1 year now and still very satisfied! Sound is crisp, clear and with ample bass. This speaker is very durable too. I've banged it around and it was accidentally left in the rain but still sounds as good as the day purchased. Battery is legit! Took it out on the lake for about 10 hours of full blast and it still had charge at the end of the day. If there is 1 negative it's that the speaker can sometimes not be loud enough in large areas. But problem solved, i just recently bought another one! Now there's plenty of volume and it's so easy to connect them both! This is by far the best speaker I've experienced within the same price point!
Bought this to play outdoors. Took it on a recent beach trip and it worked very well. Bluetooth connects quickly and has good range. Sound quality was terrific. This meant I never really was able to turn it up very loud as you could hear everything at reasonable volumes, particularly tough in a noisy beach environment. Used it to charge our cell phones while out so that's a great feature as well. 10 hours on the beach never tested the battery life. Overall very satisfied.
I bought it a month ago, it is good. cheap good sounding, but there are problems too, first the input lag sucks, it feels like 1 second of input, but that's fine because I use it for music and out door use only, very durable and its nice that it can stand up and that's its easy to carry around. it is sad that you cannot EQ it thru the app but I just downloaded an EQ app. So the Xtreme 2 rating is 4.6 starts (Amazing)
Found mime floating in the ocean over a year ago near mangroves covered in barnacles. Took it home plyed off the barnacles, pressed the on button and connected to my phone straight away. 10/10 would buy the new one when this one eventually dies.
Bought this speaker for the boat and we found the sweet spot location to put it and the sound is amazing! Great bass response, good midrange and clear treble. This unit fills the whole boat better than a full stereo from the factory. 5 stars for this speaker.
I bought the speaker for when I want to take the mood with me, And the hospitality of the speaker never let's me down. The Speaker held it's own the other day, I took it fishing and I started to rain and the music never stopped. Didn't even think about it and to be honest about it, it made the pack up and clean up go so smoothly it was well worth it. To top it off its waterproof, I love this idea no matter what you can enjoy yourself with it.
I was gifted the xtreme 2 for Christmas and before then I was using the clip 2. JBL in general has great speakers overall. My experience so far with the xtreme 2 is great but like most speakers that are waterproof the sound is going to be limited. If your looking for a good, loud, and portable speaker with good bass buy the xtreme. The price is very worth it but my only gripe is the clips for the lanyard scratch and makes what looks like bronze or brass dust everywhere in the crevice of the clips. Other than that this speaker has been the best for the price.
I'm not gonna lie this is a great speaker it has good sound, battery life, the outside is pretty durable, BUT and this is a big but I have had Two of these speakers Stop taking a charge and Die on me for no reason. I only use the charger that comes with it too.I Don't plan on buying another one just for it to Quit on me again.
Bought this speaker a year ago and had it replaced once already (warranty). Now months later same issue. The battery stops charging..So now I got to return it again. Very disappointed in this product. Sounds great. but the battery is garbage. Stay away. The speaker will only give you nothing but aggravation. Not worth the dough !!!! Find a different alternative
Bought this speaker and had nothing but problems. 2 chargers both went bad and now the speaker has blown and sounds horrible. I use to love jbl but it's junk now.
