We bought this tractor for my son 2 years ago! We definetly got our monies worth out of it and 2 years of enjoyment. It's beat up but still runs great! We were thinking about upgrading to the Gator but it has too many bad reviews! We've been so happy with this one.
Our three year old son received this for a Christmas present last year. He has beat this thing to death and it still runs. You know the saying, "Nothing runs like a deer." We love this tractor. He uses the wagon to haul things in the yard for me; weeds, leaves, and sticks. The thing that I love is that you can lock the gear into first until they learn to drive better.
We got this for our grandson 2 years ago to ride around our ranch in Nevada and it has seen a lot of use in the mud, dirt and snow. He uses it to haul manure, trees, and trash down the hill to the street. His sister is now old enough for her own tractor, so we are going to Wal-Mart today to get her one. I would highly recommend this tractor - it is sturdy and run easily on dirt, rocks, gravel, snow and grass.
I purchased this same product 4 years ago for my daughter and it still runs great. It is a little beat up and she is too big for it now but still rides it. Of course my son now 2 had to have a new one of his own. It is very easy to steer compared to the Gators, jeeps etc. Fast too. I would recomend this product to anyone over 2. Since I own a Real John Deere the kids are just like Daddy.
If you want value this is certainly the toy for you. I have had this item for 3 years, I purchased this when my grandaughter turned 3 she is now six, she has had hours and hours of fun. She still has not outgrown, I hope a model will come out that will work for 7-10 years olds. Still running on first battery. Little difficulty taking cover off to plug in, but the durability outways anything.
We bought this tractor for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves John Deere tractor's so he thought he was just like his Grandaddy with this one. He is now 6 years old and he can barely fit onto the tractor (he's 80 pounds) but he takes this tractor for a ride everyday!
Our son has been into trucks, tractors, heavy equipment since we can remember & he can even correctly name every one. So...we figured since his third birthday was coming up it was time to get him this tractor w/trailor. We have not been sorry! He loves it so much that we have to bring it back into the house after riding it outside just so he can sit on it & watch TV! I have no complaints about this product what-so-ever! It is great!!
My son got this for Christmas 2 years ago (he had just turned 2), and it has been the best purchase we have made for him. All of the neighborhood kids love to ride on it, and it has held up very well. We are actually getting another Peg Perego ride-on this Christmas since we have 2 kids now who love to drive around the neigborhood. A great buy!!
We bought this as a gift for my son's 3rd birthday, and he LOVES it! We've only had it 2 weeks, and he wants to ride it every day. He would bring it in the house if I let him. Important note- The initial battery charge takes 18 hours. Fortunately, my husband read this early on so that we didn't have a kid with a tractor but no battery!
I purchased this tractor for my son's 2nd birthday. Since then, it has consistently been his favorite toy. This has become a problem for more than one reason... The battery does not ever last as long as he would like to ride it (no matter how long it charges), the reverse stopped working a month or so after he got it and now that it is six months old, it will only operate in the slower gear. The good news is it has a one year warranty (which we are looking into now).
