It's perfect alot of candy for the money...kids are going to love this candy :0)
I was nicely surprised at how much candy was in this bag! This is a perfect size for giving away during Halloween or stuffing it inside a piñata. Anyway, there are 2 kinds of candy: Jolly Rancher and Twizzler licorice. The Jolly Ranchers Stix and Twizzlers come in Cherry, Watermelon and Green Apple flavors. Each bag has a good variety of candy and flavors. Each candy is snack sized and individually wrapped.
This is a bag of small snack sized Jolly Rancher Stix and Twizzler's Pull n Peel licorice. They each have matching flavors. Cherry Green Apple and Watermelon. The Jolly Ranchers: I love all three flavors! They're in your face, fruity and no aftertaste. I like the size too. They are about the size of 3 jolly rancher flattened. Long lasting. Not too big and not too small. The packaging is a bit flimsy to open and tears easily but it is possible to get it off without too much hassle. The jolly ranchers are sensitive to heat and get sticky quickly. The Twizzler's candies are individually packaged and slightly longer than the Jolly Rancher sticks. The Twizzler's Cherry flavor is your normal kind of licorice flavor. Definitely the strongest flavor of the three. almost medicinal but not in a bad way. Smooth taste. The Twizzler's Green apple is similar to the jolly rancher flavor but it has a different aftertaste. Not too bad but not my favorite. If you like green apples, you might like it. It is slightly apple-ish but more floral in flavor. It's unremarkable on the zing effect to the taste buds. The Twizzler's Watermelon flavor is unusual. I can't say it really tastes like watermelon. It is fragrant and floral. There isn't much aftertaste. Texture is pretty much the same as all other Twizzler's candy licorice. It is not unappetizing but not my favorite. It is unique and very flavorful. It will be a delight to your taste buds regardless of whether you like it or not. The Twizzlers candy is very sensitive to heat. The licorice gets sticky quickly. My preference is the cherry even though I'm not a cherry flavor fan. The packaging on the licorice is a bit flimsy and doesn't want to tear smoothly. It breaks off and you have to make a couple attempts at opening it. Nothing difficult or really too inconvenient. The licorice isn't cut in uniform sizes it varies slightly but nothing to worry about. My conclusion: Great tasting candy. It is temperature sensitive. Store in a cool place and you shouldn't have too much trouble. Definitely don't leave them in your vehicle or your pocket. Decent sizes. I recommend.
This big bag of Jolly Ranchers and Twizzlers is prefect for parties and for treats to pass out for Halloween. You receive a variety of tasty flavors of your favorite Jolly Ranchers and Twizzlers candy.
Jolly Rancher and Twizzler candy are pretty timeless items. Who can forget the first taste of either of these classic candies? My wife and I like to give out candy like this to the kiddos in costumes because we know it will probably start another generation on liking it like we do. It is individually wrapped in clear plastic for security, inexpensive and just tastes good in almost every flavor. In moderation it probably isn't too bad for most diets compared to other candy; however, these goodies might not be good for anyone with loose teeth, loose fillings or other dental issues due the chewy and very-sticky-when-dissolving nature of the ingredients!
I wish the would offer more flavors of the Twizzlers and black licorice too! Same with the Jolly Ranchers. It's a great candy, just need a better selection...but it is pricey.
This is a very large bag of Jolly Rancher and Twizzlers flavored hard candies/soft chewy candy. Each type of candy comes in 3 flavors; Watermelon, Green Apple and Cherry. As I don't like watermelon-flavored candy myself, I didn't like those candies flavored watermelon in either the Jolly Rancher hard candy or Twizzler chewy pull-and-peel soft candy, but the green apple and cherry flavors of both candies were very good. The pieces of candy are fairly decent in size, maybe 2 inches long for the hard candy and 2-1/2 to 3 inches long for the Twizzlers. They come wrapped individually so would be a good choice to give out for Halloween Trick-or-Treaters, or to have in a bowl for friends and family to help themselves. There are a lot of pieces in this bag as it weighs 55 ounces, and it would go a long way for the price paid, a very good value. It is not for small children who are not able to chew well, but people over the age of 5 should be able to safely eat it and enjoy it.
The jolly ranchers 55 ounce bag is a great size bag for Halloween, parties, etc. I particularly like the individually wrapped candy so that no one else's hands are touching my food before I eat it. The packaging is very colorful and attracts your attention. There are three flavors in this bag, hard candy apple stix, hard candy watermelon stix and hard candy cherry stix. The packaging on the individual candy is also done well to catch your attention. It shows a picture of the fruit as well as spelling out the flavor ie: Cherry. Having the matching twizzler flavors is a great idea. Although, you must like tart tasting candy if you are going to pick jolly ranchers. On the twizzler side there is only one gram of fat and 130 callories for a three piece serving size. On the hard stix side, a there is zero fat and only have 40 calories. These candies are more for children rather than adults. As I would probably pull out every filling in my mouth if I ate these. Children, hopefully don't have a mouth full of fillings. I also like the small serving size. Sometimes you want a sweet but don't want to eat a whole candy bar, these are a great size.
This would be a great varietal pack for Halloween. I don't care much for the twizzlers, but love jolly ranchers.
The big bag of candy is great and the Twizzlers (3 flavors) are handy to take along to the movies. They are also a nice size for Halloween to put in kids' baskets. I have a gripe with the Jolly Ranchers, however. Even for an adult mouth, they are too big. They do not have a stick like a lollypop so you either keep half in the wrapper or hold on to it with your fingers (really sticky mess) or pop it in your mouth where it then turns into a sliver of super sharp candy I would not recommend to any child. The pieces are shaped like some chewing gum but since it is hard candy, it becomes unsafe in my opinion once it starts to melt.
