Good flavor. Low carb. If you are on a low carb diet like myself and find yourself missing bread like crazy this is a great way to get your fix. Best of all it taste like bread not just a substitute. Just cut a pita in half. Open it up and make your favorite sandwich inside. I have used them to make sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, meatball subs. Very versatile.
Recently me and my girlfriend decided to switch to the ketogenic diet. At first it was hard adjusting to the lower carbs and we were trying to find something delicious that fit into our carb intake. One day I was just in store and I saw this brand and I picked it up to read the nutrition labels and I could not believe there were only 6 grams of net carbs!! I thought this was amazing so we picked them up and tried them... They were absolutely perfect! My favorite thing to make is a Philly cheesesteak stuffed Pita with peppers, onions, provolone cheese.. DELICIOUS. Highly recommend even if you are not Keto. My whole family loves them and my family members are not Keto. They're just that delicious.
I love these and think the flavor and texture is great, especially for sandwiches or wraps. I have not tried heating them, but the pizza crust suggestion from another reviewer sounds good. I usually fill them with Real Good chicken strips with either ceasar salad or chopped romaine with guacamole, salsa and cheese for a delicious, low carb wrap. I feel like these are one of those health foods that require a more adult palate, but I'm quite picky about healthy stuff and I think these taste great and I feel better about eating them than regular bread.
Torn between 4 %26 5 stars. The bread is super thin, so for sandwiches not really a wow item. But if you just need a little carb, great. Kinda grainy. But as a pizza crust....fantastic. I don't love pizza crust. These make a great stand in for it.
Not as pictured. Using for individual pizzas and the top 2 or 3 are totally misshapen and can't be used. I have used other pita bread for this with no trouble.
Ordered one type of pita with a substantial choice that was/is available %26 got this gross stuff. Starting to think to cancel Walmart %26 go back to instacart. Orders are wrong %26 are messed up 1 of every 2 times.
Two months past use by date. expired 9/29/23. Delivered 11/29. poorly trained stock picker.
I ordered 6 whole wheat flax pitas to make pizzas for my family and this replacement only contained 5 and they are the thinnest pitas I have ever eaten. They also lack the whole wheat and flax
The product it's self is great but received all smashed and broken into shreds. Not one of the 5 pitas in the pack are usable!
The bread was expired.
