Recived this brow liner in dark brown. Packaging was very cute like all Julep products. I have black hair and this shade was perfect - not too light and not too dark. It was very easy to use and very precise. Took me just a few seconds to pencil in each brow which is great when I'm on the run. I love the smooth texture and the quality of the ink, it gives my brows a natural appearance and the gel helps keep the brows in place. I picked the taupe color since I have brown eyebrows with dyed blonde hair which makes for a good in between color. I received this product complimentary from Cohley in exchange for my honest review.
Love this bow gel! As an older woman my eyebrows have many white hairs… the brow gel RSW the whites, looks super natural and stays on all day. Love it!
I have tried a lot of brow products in the last few years, and I accidentally came across Julep's Pencil and Gel - it was not recommended, as many I've tried have been. The pencil is so soft and effective, not leaving obvious pencil marks in my thin brows, and the gel smooths out the look for a very natural-appearing brow. Really a great product.
I love these products. About a year ago i took the plunge and submitted my first order. Fell in love with the products.
Goes on easy, stays in place. I love the brush AND pencil aspect, as my eyebrows are thinning at the ends and the brush won't work for that part.
This gel is good for darkening my brows. The pencil at the opposite end is good to touch up bare spots and the”tail” of my brows. The plastic case is starting to crack, so that is why I took off a star. I like the size of the applicator and pencil. It works well for me!
Colors are not 'real' on eye shadow - brown is very yellow once on. Did not like the eyebrow 'pencil' at all.
This is not a reproduction of the old Julep eyebrow pencil I have loved for years. It's got a much sharper point and the color is much too dark. Tossed it..
