I've never worn an eye shadow, even with a primer, that didn't fade or crease within a few hours. Julep is magical!!! It lasts where I put it until I take it off. I've thrown out all other eye shadows. I use vanilla matte all over, taupe shimmer on the center of my lid, stone matte on the outside corner and Pearl Shimmer on the inside corner to the center. I'm in my 60's and worried about the shimmer. It's not glittery at all. The metallic is too much shine for me, but the shimmer is just right!! I use a brush to blend. It gives me just the look I'm trying to achieve. The sponge is good in a pinch, but I like using a brush for the right control. Two requests… I'd love the taupe in the matte finish! And my older eyes find it hard to read the colors on the end of the tube. I've added a label to the larger end so I don't have to put my glasses on to see the color. Anything Julep could to to increase the size or placement of the name of each color would be appreciated!
The formula is perfect! Completely blendable!!! The only thing that would be make this better is if the sticker that is on the end was on the side so I can more easily select the color from the drawer. I peeled mine off and moved them - but one tore - so isn't the end-all solution.
I loved this eyeshadow! So easy to apply, and was great on my 60 year old eyelids, which are getting crepey. I felt pretty at the black tie dinner we attend every year. I may actually start wearing makeup a little more often now.
Wow - I haven't worn eye shadow in years but saw the Julep ad on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Well, I'm almost 66 years old, still have good skin but I'm not 25 and these shadows are amazing! I bought the Ginger Matte and (I think) the Desert Matte and I'm absolutely in love. Not only do they stay on, they don't crease and the colors are true to the palettes you see on the website. I'm back to wearing eye shadow again and so happy to have found Julep!!
I really like these shadows, I have purchased many colors just in the past month. They go on so smooth, blend so well and then set to a powder that does not crease throughout the day. I later decided to try the mascara, it goes on so easy and does not flake and washes off so well. I have to say that I have switched my makeup to Julep.
These replace my eyeshadows and liners, The color lasts all day long, never drags on my eyelid or waterline and blends beautifully at application and then sets for the day! I never feel clownish with the colors and now i have almost all of the colors! The price is right, too!
Great neutral brown color. Blends nicely to give a nice muted shadow tone. Quick and easy!
This eyeshadow stick glides on easily and blends very well. You can create totally different looks with how much or how little you put on and how much you blend. I bought two more shades and love them as well.
