The color is so soft and just absolutely lasts! I have seen a couple reviews about the color - ooh la la is described very, very clearly as sepia toned. It is! It's the perfect sepia nude and if you're not looking for a moody gray nude, you will be disappointed by the shade. I loved mine and so this month with my maven box, I picked out another in pucker up. It's the same long lasting, can't-feel-it smooth slippery but dry/satin feeling. I was extremely surprised by how long it lasts and how evenly it fades- you won't get any creepy lines, ring around the mouth, bleeding, or splotchy/gunky fading. This is by far Julep's most impressive beauty product and the formula is unlike anything I've tried. I've seriously only been so impressed by lip products from YSL and the like.
Received in monthly box in beautiful red shade, smooch. Not a color I would wear everyday but the formula was great so I ordered another, Ooh lala. Goes on like gloss, Dries Matte - but without over drying. Slight bleed through once completely dry, but not enough to complain. Color last hours- and I am constantly rubbing my lips. Looks great as is or if youlike tobuid up your color. No scent or taste, which is nice. Love the formula!
My new signature matte lip, I want each color! Unlike many lipsticks that dry my lips out, this has a creamy texture and conditions my pout, no drought! I have a light olive skin tone and Bisou is slightly more mauve than my natural color, next order is for a more adventurous hue!
I really love this formula, I have 4 of the colours and this is the second I've tried and I'm a fan. Love that it's matte without as much drying as you get from some other liquid to matte lipsticks. The colour of XOXO is a bit different on me (maybe it's just me) than the swatches. I expected it to be a deeper darker color. That being said it's still a lovely colour, very vibrant and pigmented. Probably more of a summer colour for me! :)
These matte lip mousse colors are my favorites! I already have 2 and plan to collect them all. Finally found the perfect combo of a supple lipstick with the application and feel of a gloss without the shine!

When the 'It's Whipped' line launch I was worried because sometimes Mattes are not really Mattes but THIS product is AMAZING!!! I have the WHOLE collection, including 3 Kiss Me's. This is perfect for people, like me, who are really new to the makeup world and want to experiment. The only thing I wish, is that they made a darker brown other then that, it's perfect!
I received this as part of my December box. I love the formula, and it wears all day long with some minor transfer. I did need to touch up after eating but only when I chowed down on serious eats like saucy wings. I like the applicator. I typically apply to the bottom first and rub my lips together and then line with the tip and fill with a light second application and it applies perfectly every time. No real feathering issues. Overall it wears beautifully and this is a red I can wear anytime.
I'm in love! I received It's Whipped in the shade Kiss Me in December. Unfortunately this is the first time in really getting to test it out. But i must say it was totally worth the wait! I applied the lipstick at 2:30pm ,attended a wedding (drinks ,dinner and cake) and woke up at 8pm and still had lipstick on!! The best part is is that I never reapplied! No dryness and absolutely no feathering! I think this is the best matte lip anything I've ever tried! I received so many compliments that I'm about to buy every shade!!! Thanks for creating a great product
I have never tried matte lipstick before, and wasn't sure what to expect. I have been pleasantly surprised by these. The formula is smooth and I can get at least a half day's wear before needing to reapply. I thought these might be drying, but they really aren't. The applicator shape could be improved upon, though, it's awkward and delivers more of the product than I need. It also makes it harder to get a precise line.
