I use this can for 2 cycle mix and it's great. I don't spill any gas which saves me money. The size makes it easy for mixing in the proper ratio for the 2 cycle mix. The size of the nozzle is great because I use this can for my trimmers and blowers. They have another 2 gallon size of these can but it has a bigger nozzle which might make it a little awkward when filling up the tanks of small 2 cycle engines. Keep that in mind. This can is just the right size. Since it is metal it is a little heavier than a plastic container with equal content. There is great control with dispensing and the nozzle diameter fits easily into the small opening on my push mower. The only fault I have with it is it can be difficult to fill. The strainer causes back flow since it isn't easy to control a station's pump handle and keep it going in slowly. This leads to splashing outside of the fill port. My wife mows the lawn usually. As she complained that the 5-gallon gas can was too heavy when it was full, I purchased this smaller gas can that can only hold 2 gallons. She loves it. It is well made, I have spent money on plastic gas cans in the past; all have been disappointing with hard to use valves: I always ended up with fuel on my hands and/or spilled fuel. This one has an easy to use valve control that is located away from the spout. You pay a little more for quality, but this may be the last gas can you ever need. Made in USA.

Great size for use with 2 cycle engines with small tanks. Makes the mix ratio easy to do. Filling and pouring are a breeze due to the fill cap and handle. Also recommend the 5 Gallon with the 1 inch hose for the same reasons. Use that one for larger no mix engines.
