For my daughter's room. Awesome sound for the size. JVC makes great products. Very good features with the iPod connection and docking station. Can even scroll the songs on your iPod with the JVC remote. Fast shipping site to store. Would recommend over the bulkier shelf systems as this takes up very little space under her TV stand with the her other components. Don't let the size fool you.
As another reviewer wrote, this is definitely more than I expected. The sound is impressive for such a small unit. The ability to play songs from a USB flash drive is what makes this little stereo special. Just load your favorites onto a flash drive, plug it in, and away you go. They play without a hitch. If you have hundreds of songs, the random play feature is a must. This unit has a CD player but, with the USB feature, I'm not sure if I'll ever use it. Unless you're a devout audiophile, I think you'll be more than satisfied if you buy this little machine. In my opinion, this unit sounds as good or better than the Bose radio I tried out ... and at a fraction of the cost. I'm including a baseball in the picture just to add some scale
This tiny stereo is big on features. It supports iPod, other mp3 players through the aux input, CD (and takes mp3 format cd's) and my favorite, the flash media. I can plug in a flash drive to the usb port and it plays music from there. I divide up songs into folders and you can choose by group or tract. The speakers work well for the size room I'm in and have a really rich sound. I'm completely happy with this stereo for my yoga studio. I was thinking of getting another for my house.
This stereo is so beyond what I thought it was going to be. I have used it everyday since I bought it and I don't know how I lived with my older stereo before. I love the iPod control feature- it even comes with a little stand for the iPod. The left slot in the front works with USB thumbdrives, if I don't feel like syncing my iPod, I just load new music on a USB drive and listen. The sound is phenomenal and the price is lower than it should be for a device like this. I wish I could take it with me wherever I go. The cd player and radio work well too. The box includes everything, fm and am antennas, batteries for the remote, even the iPod control cord.
The product is so small, you can put it almost anywhere and it gets loud. Not as loud as I would like but gets very loud, and has a great bass. Perfect for a dorm room!
I have always been a Sony Products lover and was little reluctant in buying a JVC. Especially because this product has single driver speakers (no seperate Woofer/Tweeter in the speaker box). After reading good reviews, I made up my mind in buying this. I was not dis-appointed at all. This product is great with excellent sound clarity and good range of Bass and Treble. You cannot get anything better in this price. Rather, you would pay much more to get this quality. Absolute value for money! The whole system is so compact that you can place it just anywhere. The coolest part is that I just plug in my USB thumb drive loaded with MP3 songs and it plays those seemlessly. No need to copy songs into a CD.
This is quite compact and doesn't take up much space. Good sound for a small system, and fits my needs of a small CD player/radio perfectly.
I must say, this was a great descision to get this stereo. It has met and exceeded all my hopes! The sound quality is awesome, it's not the biggest one but it sure packs some nice bass along with it, and it is able to hooked up to my Ipod Nano! Which was the main reason for purchasing it. I would say it was a great product!!!
This system is very good for its price. I would have given 5 stars if it had a subwoofer output and the ability to play DVD. The look is great, performance is good. What's a great investment...
This is small, compact, and nice looking but it stops there. The sound was average, at best, and the stations don't come in well. I was very disappointed, particularly since it had alot of good reviews. If I felt like dealing with the hassle, I would pack it back up and take it back.
