I tried a doctors prescribed ointment for a few days with no results, so I thought to buy this kanka brand from Walmart. Let's just say my cold sores deep in the back of my mouth went away within 3 days.. my tip would be to put a dab on a cotton swab and then smear it on because it does dry up like super glue and you don't want it all over your teeth and gums. As for taste, it tastes like mint toothpaste if you didn't rinse your mouth afterwards.
In our family,if we're buying, then it's the best !! My daddy has dentures and they irritate his mouth, and Kanka is the only brand that has helped him relieve the pain!
I have been using this for YEARS and i have to find a single thing, not even clove oil, that works better. It works for deep tooth pain or minor gum pain. I love it and swear by it.
Works quickly as described. My go to for my nose congestion. The only complaint. which actually turns out to be a good thing. BAD: PRICE GOOD: DOUBLE PACKAGE MAKES IT A LITTLE CHEAPER
If you are prone to getting canker sores, you definitely want to keep this on hand. This is the best over the counter product I have found to help numb the pain of canker sores. It has a honey dipper shaped applicator to make it easy to apply. Last for a bit and a little goes a long way. Worth the money.
I loved how it made the sores on the side of my tongue (grind teeth at night…) not hurt as much and how it absolutely shortened the amount of time for the sores to disappear, like 24-36 hours 'disappeared'. Before I found this, it would take 7-10 days. I will definitely be a regular customer. It is runny, it's a liquid…be careful to tap the tip of the applicator a few times before you remove the applicator totally from the bottle as it will run/drip - too expensive to waste!
burns like crazy at first but numbs super well! helps relieve the pain!! tastes like mint mouthwash which was relieving. it did make the sore hurt worse but the relief for a little while was worth it.
This stuff is a lifesaver! It takes the discomfort from your guns instantly. I have a removable temporary bridge and I dab this on before inserting the appliance. Not the best tasting, but it deadens the pain in an instant. I keep it on my purse “ just in case” my guns flare up.
This stuff works really good for tooth/gum pain… it's almost like super glue, you apply a layer of it wherever you're having pain %26 then keep your mouth open, or lift your gum up for a few seconds to let it dry %26 then it dries like a film on top of your teeth/gums. It tastes pretty good too… %26 the film lasts pretty long basically acting as a protective shield for an hour or more… you get better at applying it the more you use it… VERY STICKY
The canker sore was on the inside of my lip. It did not numb the area I placed it on only numbed my tongue.
