I love the flavor of these Crispy Rice Treats! They come individually wrapped in the box. For a bit over $4, I got 16 bars! Only 80 calories each, and filled with crunchy deliciousness. Such a great snack or dessert! Yummy 😋
Haven't gotten these in a few months since the price change to 8 dollars but now since it back to 4 we decided to get them again. I noticed that they're smaller than the ones that used to be in the box. Happy didn't buy them at 8 dollars cause that's just robbery.
They are ripe pretty crunched up - good thing they're meant to be chewy. I have not opened each individual pack. Should be interesting however, condition doesn't really affect their flavor.
Opened up first treat of box and it was soggy. I spit it out and rinsed my mouth. There is a clump of gelatin/sugar? on it. I hope younjust had a bad batch. We havent touched rest of box. We love these treats. My hubs bought them this week from the commissary. What do we do now? Thank you, Jenny
We've purchased quite a few of the bulk Costco boxes of Original Rice Krispies Treats, but the last box had a few bars with blackish brown chunks. I don't know if it was chocolate or burnt pieces of a previous batch that slipped past whatever cleaning process the equipment gets. Just know that any future purchases will be treated with caution. Thank you.
Really upset because I used to love Rice Krispies treats but they have changed the recipe. I'm not sure what it is but something isn't right. My batch wasn't stale it had the right texture and crunch but the taste was off. Whatever it is takes over the original flavor. Best I can describe is fake, processed, or perhaps an extra additive flavor.
Expired
I bought a box of rice crispy treats, the multi flavor pack with 16 bars containing chocolate, original, and rainbow. The original rice, crispy treats, taste horrible, they have no butter in them. I am highly disappointed because this shows the product is not being quality checked. I have another box I bought at the same time of all original in the 16 pack, and they taste perfect so I know it's not me.
I opened them and it was stale, it looked so old that it wasn't the usual color it had a yellow pigment on it not the white one it usually does. Not good at all.
