With all the different filter numbers and the replacements and equivalent numbers it is hard to say for sure whether a filter will fit your refrigerator. Even though this is a Kenmore brand it claims to be a replacement for my Maytag. Thankfully it turns out to be correct. Working great!
The description of the part was exactly what I received. I was very happy with that.
This product isn't something that can be tested before hand so I feel seller wasn't aware that both canisters were defective. My money was refunded in full very quickly and I appreciate that. I wouldn't hesitate to buy through Walmart again and use this seller if it came to it. But I can't give a 5 star rating on a product that failed so totally. It took me a whole day to clear up the mess that was caused.
These water filters were not good at all. In fact,they may be completely counterfeit. There was no problem with the delivery or the packaging. However,they leaked horribly upon installing in the fridge. And yes, I know how to install the water filter because I've been doing it for years with this refrigerator. The price seemed too good, as the ones sold in other stores and online were over $50. I guess you get what you pay for. I had to actually buy one of the $50 ones to replace these bad, fraudulent and leaky filters. Walmart should monitor companies that sell on their site better, because some of them, like this one, are not good.
