These speakers sound excellent for the price. I'm using them with a JVC head unit 50w x 4 and the bass that comes from these speakers make the trunk and mirrors vibrate while still playing the mids and lows with crystal clarity, can't wait to see how they sound with an amp. They did not come with all the wires that should have been included but Walmart was great about rectifying that by sending a gift card rapidly which allowed me to pick up the missing wires. Two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Site to store was a breeze>
Easy to install and they sound great. Much better than the stock speakers that came with my car.
These replaced the stock speakers in a 99 Protege. They fit perfectly under the rear package tray. Sound is crisp & the bass is pretty good. Speakers have large heavy magnets. I did not need to use the Kenwood grilles, since the speakers would be hidden.
These speakers are great for someone that is not an audio nut. The bass is not as good as you would expect from kennwood, but the clarity is(VERY GOOD CLARITY). I'm running them with an amp and they handle ok, if you run them without an amp you'll be fine. All in all they are good for the average listener for any one else get a sub.
