I paid $145 for the Keter 150 gallon deck box. No one had a better price that included free shipping than Walmart. We had a Suncast Java 134 gallon before this and this Keter is 10X more solid and more waterproof because of the way it fits together.
I love it!!! I was able to assemble it in about 40 minutes all by myself. I used a drill instead of a screwdriver. The directions were simple enough. This box is huge but not too heavy. I was able to fit pillows for a loveseat and chair plus 4 smaller throw pillows. I also throw in a few other items. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
I ordered this deck box, based upon previous reviews that it was easy to assemble. It being on sale, sealed the deal. The cardboard packaging was in perfect shape when it arrived. One odd thing was that the instruction manual was delivered, placed on top of the package, all by itself out in the open?? All the screws and small parts were in one large plastic bag in the packaging box, and then placed into separate smaller bags, which were in turn sorted by the eight or nine construction steps in the manual. The instructions and diagrams were unusually clear and easy to follow. My husband probably spent a couple of hours putting it together, and I helped hold the box lid per the instructions while he screwed in the hinges on the box lid to the box itself. The holes aligned where they should, there were even extra screws. My husband was a happy camper (well as happy as one can be doing this). He did comment that he thought someone with little strength would have some difficulty inserting all the screws unless they had a power drill. The box is sturdy, it didn't bend when we sat on the top. The sides are tight. I could see a little daylight in the bottom of the box at the corners, but I don't think the holes are large enough for a mouse to get through. Spiders, yes. The built-in handles are a good feature. We are keeping the box in the garage, as we have a small deck, plus we want to make sure moisture won't get in to our cushions. It does look like the lid is pretty watertight. The 150 gallon box is large enough for our 4 chair cushions-it could hold probably 6 side-by-side there is enough room to store some of the grand kids toys we have in our sun room during the summer. The lock feature is nice. The resin wood finish looks nice. Overall, a great product.

My wife put it together by herself. She only needed my help when it was time to place the lid on top. Did not take her long (She loves working on projects) Pretty good box and fits well on our patio.
We have been looking for some time for a storage box that could dibble as seating or table. This works. Easy to assemble. Holds all our seat cushions and collapsible umbrella for our table.
Super easy to assemble. Lightweight yet feels very sturdy. We are able to store all of our cushions for the patio set (2 large chairs and 1 love seat) plus some extra room for small gardening supplies and pots. Kept everything dry and protected - even when we had some really crazy storms!
Well, there were no directions that came with this unit. I went online to find someone who could help. that being said, it was pretty easy. Just got it so cant tell if it will hold up to the MI weather. Also, coloring is a bit different. The top is a different color than the sides. Not exactly as shown. Otherwise, it seems like a nice large deck box that will fit our needs. Would have given it 5 stars if I didnt have to look for directions, and the colors matched. Please see photo.
really liked the quality of the product until I put it together and noticed the lid has a big slice on it that I am worried over time is going to crack all of the way through. I requested that a new lid be sent to replace it a few weeks back and havent gotten any response.
I just ordered this and all I really have to say it's okay. Not really 148 okay but maybe 90 okay. Anyways besides that. I had just gotten my email notification of it being delivered and it came in an open box without ANY instructions. Called Walmart they were really helpful and reimbursed me for some of it and said I should YouTube the instructions. I put it together it was pretty easy, but I couldn't have done it without the instructions. It's pretty nice if you're looking for something to store stuff in and put it outside, but it did come scratched up, it scratches easily and it is pretty flimsy; it can get bent quite easily. I will insert pictures, it looks closer to black than brown, which I will insert color reference. Anyways it's okay, it'll do.
