After getting used to my old air conditioner thru the years, I was amazed at the contrast with the Keystone 8,000 BTU model KSTAW08B. Especially the quiet operation. It is about as compact and light weight as you can get and installation was a breeze. The fan moves a ton of air, and even in the highest setting remains quiet. Our bedroom is just under 200 square feet, and this air conditioner cools like a charm. If there are any negatives, I've not encountered them at all.
A little noisy but it def cools like it supposed to. The remote is the best!
This AC really cools off my bedroom. However It is very loud. Especially on the auto mode. I am a light sleeper so find it annoying. It really cools the room though.
AC works well in normal mode and cools the room that we have. It's not as quiet as advertised, about the same as the unit we had in there. There's also a little rattle during start up that goes away when banging on top of the unit with my fist. I'm disappointed with the Energy Saver and Follow Me modes so we don't use them. The AC turns off every 2 minutes when using the Energy Saver mode so yes you're saving energy because the AC never runs but you're not cooling the room either. The Follow Me feature doesn't work any better. The AC turns off at least 3-4 degrees above the set temperature on the remote. These were the two features that I was looking forward to using so it's disappointing when neither feature lived up to expectations. Since I saved a little money on this model compared to the other popular model that we were considering, I'm just hoping we can get close to the 15 years that our previous unit survived.
thermostat went out 2nd day i took it back
i just got this today it dont blow really cold air little noisy. 2nd walmart airconditioner both suck
