Bought this for my son. The container the food comes in ONLY comes in Pink!!! So if your buying this for a boy like I did... They might be a bit upset with the color choice. Than the groceries that look like cartons of milk, etc. are all cardboard so while your child is playing, the can easily break and become damaged. My son only had about 4 days of use out of them before they were all damaged. The food pieces itself are plastic, realistic and come with a variety of life like foods. This product has its ups and downs. But for $9.97 I guess you get what you pay for...
I got this fake food set for my babysitting / daycare i run in my home. The peaces are so small that i couldn't trest it with the children i watch ( girl age 3, Girl age 3 boy age 4 ). I had to put some of the peaces up and only the bigger ones they are allowed to play with. I would not buy something like this agine.
I returned this item for refund. My 2 year old son immediately discovered how to compress the food shapes with his hands. Squashed plastic food is not worth it.
