Good for all ages. We got this for my 3yr old and so far him and his 16yr old sister have had a blast with it.
This set is more than worth the money! My son got this for Christmas from us. I bought it for the guitar. I didn't even know it had a microphone until he opened it. But he LOVES the guitar AND microphone! He sings and plays the guitar. If you are looking for a fun toy for your 3-5 year old, I think this is a great value for your money!

My Father bought this for my 3 year old for her birthday, and she absolutely loves it! She is sometimes shy, but this set brings out her inner rock star! She sings and carries the mic around like a rock star. This is terrific to entertain kids, even if they don't have much musical talent. The down side is that on day 3, the mic cord was tugged on while the mic was being held, and the cord came off the mic. I can't figure out how to get the mic apart to rewire it, although I'll try again more aggressively this weekend. She still likes the set, but it's not near as much fun without the amplified voice provided by the microphone. It would be awesome if the product could be improved to be a little tougher for young kids, although maybe the mic would have worked forever, if the cord had not been pulled on.
My son picked this out for the guitar. Didn't realize about the Mic w/stand even being included because we were in a hurry. This was a great toy and he still loves the guitar and mimics singing with the Mic but like another reviewer said, the Mic came detached from the cord within a month. I will probably try to fix it, myself but also as the reviewer said, the Mic doesn't seem to come apart and at the moment my son isn't complaining about no amplified voice. However, when it did work he played with it constantly performing for me. Wish the cord was more durable. That is the only reason, I didn't give it 5 stars. If I had it to redo, I would still buy it but place electrical tape around the bottom of the Mic to try to better secure it.
I purchased this for my 3year old and because he has a older cousin who plays, he wanted and actual guitar with real strings and not this musical one. I returned it for a different one.
I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson because he loves to play the guitar and sing. There is so much feedback because the microphone plugs into the guitar and they have to be close. Plus he likes to march around with the guitar and can't with this one. Will be taking it back and hopefully get something he likes better.
I purchased it online and picked it up at the store. I was very disappointed how poorly it was made. It barely played music.
