I had purchased this product a year ago while in Japan to help protect my baby from the intense heat and rays. On route back to the states I lost it and ordered another one b/c this is such a wonderful product. I highly recommend it. It's very economical for the protection it provides, and it folds up quite well when not in use.
My son is very fair, and cannont be in the sun for more than a few seconds, this sun shade helps keep most of his body in the shade, it is easy to hook on.
The shade works GREAT with my maclaren fold up stroller. It's easy to set up and use immediately. And it was shipped very quickly. But I have not found it very useful with my Baby Jogger-the cover only goes a few additional inches over the existing jogger shade. I'm certain i'm using it correctly, so i'm not happy with the shade for the jogger but love it for the fold up.
This is easy to put on any stroller and can be pulled down all the way to completely shade your baby. The only thing I don't like is that it's so light that it flies up if there's a strong wind.
I have a jeep stroller, so the shade that came with it is fairly little. The shade works, and covers the stroller, but its a bit awkward to set up, and doesn't cover like the one in the picture, on my stroller. It doesn't seem to bend down and cover like the pictures. It does fold and store easily though. It does work, just a little different than expected.
My stroller is not like the one pictured on the package and there are no instructions on how to attach it. It's pretty self explanatory, but it doesn't fit all strollers well. The front of the shade does not go down like in the picture. Mine faces upward. It is still better than no shade at all and keeps most of the sun away from baby. I still like the product and would recommend it.
I had to return mine only because it only fits strollers that already have a shade. This particular model goes over the exisiting sunshade to provide additional protection. My stroller did not have ashade to begin with and this is why I purchased this one, but unfortunately it didn't work.
I bought this shade for a babyjogger stroller. It's basically unusable for the babyjogger because the only strctural part is a single bow. A second, hinged bow probably would have made it useful. It attaches to the stroller by velcro straps. The material is something like thick lycra - stretchy and saggy. This shade works as an extension to the existing shade on some strollers.
I bought this because I had a double tandem stroller that lost its front canopy. I decided to try this. From the picture, it looks like the sun shade is rigid, but it's not. It's floppy. I think the canopy from the pictured stroller is what holds it in place. I might not be using it for its intended use, but I feel that it should be rigid, not matter what you use it for, so I couldn't give it five stars.
The shade does not extend my canopy. Maybe it would work with a tiny stroller, but it blows in the wind and tilts upward or backward and does not provide any coverage. Plus there are little holes from the velcro pulling on the shade -- after only 3 weeks of use! It does not help me very much.
