I researched many kitchens and finally picked this one due to the size and wooden materials. I wanted a kitchen that could last from age 2 to 6 and be moved between rooms without taking it apart. It does take some patience during the assembly, but was worth it. The kidkraft customer service is excellent if any piece arrives damaged or missing. My daughter had a cooking birthday party and this was the feature. I believe some of the parents will buy it as well. It is very cute!
This kitchen is SO adorable and our daughter loves it. It did take a long time to assemble, ( about 3 hrs) for my husband. But once put together it's very sturdy. Surfaces are water resistant on counter tops and sink is removable. Fantastic for imaginary play! This is something she will pass on to her children. Very happy with it.
Ordered this kitchen as a gift for my 5-year-old daughter. She loves it! Good quality. Fairly easy to put together. May take awhile to assemble, but not difficult to do. Had some missing hardware and a damaged part, but was replaced after contacting Kidkraft. Like the fit and finish much better than the plastic kitchens. Great for pretend play. Seems to be durable as well. Well worth the $. Even the few included cooking accessories are of decent quality. Highly recommended.
We purchased this kitchen for our 4yr old. She loves it, and so does her 2yr old brother. They play with it all of the time. My only complaint was the time it took to put together, but the directions were very easy to follow. My husband and I made it our project and it took us 3 hours. The end result...loved it! It is super sturdy and colorful. I would definately recommed the kitchen...just give yourself enough time to assemble.
We bought this for our 18month granddaughter. It took about 2 hours to put together. The directions were pretty easy to follow. I recommend a dill. It's a nice size and I love the soft pastel colors. She also loves playing with it. The one thing that sold us on this one was the size and the amount of storge it has. I would highly recommend this kitchen.
This kitchen is SO cute! It looks even better than the picture! My daughter absolutly LOVES it. Its sturdy and its going to last a good long while. I am a bit jealous I didnt have a kitchen like that when I was a kid! The one and only small problem I had while putting it together was one of the nuts wasnt threaded all the way through and the bolt would not turn through that one particular nut. Easy fix with a tap and dye and got it rethreaded and it worked just fine. Still give it 5 stars though...
My daughter loves her little kitchen. she never stopped playing with it after santa dropped it off. if you need to put it together for santa then lay all the pieces out on the floor or against a wall. they are all numbered and it goes together fast.
The kitchen is a hit with my 2 and a half year old, really cute and lots of fun. The only problems were a couple of cracks in the wood. It was too close to Christmas to send it back, otherwise I would have. But they were not bad enough to jeopardize the functionality and we can seal them. She has cooked lots and the kitchen has good storage capacity. I would recommend.
I purchased this and thought that I was getting a solid wood kitchen set for my kid. Put the thing together and it is nothing more than pressed particle board or something and cardboard backings, that fell out after the first few hours of use. Definately not worth the price paid
A bit pricey but well-built, made mainly of wood and not plastic. Even the hinges are real metal. Assembly at home took almost three hours; now I know why they don't sell these in stores. You'll need a minivan with extra seats removed to carry this home if assembled. It came in a large box that fits nicely inside the rear seats of a subcompact, sideways.
