This chair is just the right size for our 1 year old daughter. The material has already held up to an exploding diaper and looks new after a good cleaning. It is sturdy for the most part - as long as she's not standing on the chair. She can push it around a little bit, but only on the hardwood floors. She loves that it's "hers" and I love that it matches our current living room furniture. Great buy all around!
I looked and looked in so many places, online, in-stores, special orders, etc. I was looking for the best value I could find on seating for my daughter, and this chair had it all for my needs. The price is definitely the biggest plus here, if you have done some shopping you already know this kind of pieces do not go for less than $55 plus shipping (because most stores do not carry kids furniture in their inventory). With site-to-store we avoided the shipping, and the price was unbeatable as well. We are not currently using it as a rocker. My kid is so active (aka "crazy!") that we were worried she would hurt herself, especially when we saw her trying to stand on the arm rests; but we just removed the curved 'feet' of the chair and now it's just a fixed seat. We will eventually turn it back into a rocker, though. The size is great, my girl is a bit taller than average so I was worried this would be small, but she fits in it perfectly. It is overall well built, not any fancy features or details, but the padding is just right (for a kid). We've just had this for a month or so, so we don't know for a fact how durable this could be, but it is on the right track for now. I am glad we paid so little for something that can actually look good in our living room; and best of all, I am so happy I didn't buy a fancy seat that will keep me worried everytime my girl seats on it with her juice or cookies, this chair is perfect for regular use, wear and tear. After all, it's for kids!!!
My 20 month old son LOVES his new rocking chair. He thinks it's cool to sit in one like mommy and daddy's. Well put together. He likes to climb all over it and it doesn't tip too easily. (He has to work at that!) Great buy!
I bought this chair for my 20 month old son. He loves to sit and look at books, or watch tv. No more hitting the back of his head on the wood rail from his old rocker. And it looks easy to take the rockers off if he suddenly doesn't like them. Good choice of colors for this chair. Great value at this price; shop around and see.
My 16 month old loves it. We originally bought the recliner, but it had razor sharp pieces on the inside and a scissor mechanism which caused problems. This rocker is strudy and comfortable. The old arthritic cat loves it too. It is stylish and fits our furniture scheme. The only problem: It has flipped over once when she climbed too high on the back. We keep it backed up against the couch now and she loves it.
Chair was a little smaller than expected and I did notice some staples sticking out. Overall a great value, my son is 21 months and loves this chair and sits in it all the time. He will be able to use it for a long time. The fabric is soft and easy to clean, very durable. The tan color matches our furniture perfectly. Be sure to use the site to store for shipping it took about 4 days and you don't have any shipping charges.
This chair is too cute! My son is 13 months old and loves having his little chair in the living room to climb all over and rock back and forth during Sesame Street!!! The only problem we had was apparently when the chair was shipped it was damaged. The bottom rocker part of the chair is plastic and had broken in half. We gorilla glued it back together trying to avoid the hassle of taking it back and it works perfectly! I'm sure it would have been replaced no questions asked but we just didn't bother? Great for the price!
This chair is as cute as can be! We haven't attached the rockers to the bottem yet, and probably won't until our little one is a bit older, but they seem easy enough to put on. The chair is smaller/shorter than I had pictured, but that's more my fault for not checking the measurements. It'll still work for quite a while, and adding the rockers will raise the height a couple of inches. I can't really comment on its durability, as it hasn't had any use yet, (waiting for christmas morning,) but it seems sturdy enough. All in all, I'm quite pleased with it thus far.
I bought this for my 16 month old who loves to sit in small chairs. He doesn't always stay there very long, but he loves it! It's not the most "cushy" chair in the world (lacking fluff in the arms), but for someone who is going to drool on it and climb on the back, it's a great buy! We chose to keep the rockers off, so I can't comment on them. It's the perfect size for him, with room to grow!It's pretty sturdy too - he climbed on the back and arm of it and, thankfully, it did not tip over.
The chair is affordable and serves its purpose. Only concern is keeping the fabric clean. My little one not allowed to eat or drink in chair. Fabric feels thin. Feels like there's no stuffing, just fabric stretched across frame of chair.
