Small sardines packed in olive oil...great sandwich on crusty French white bread or serve on Great Value Saltines.
I have eaten sardines most of my life for the health benefits. I didn't love the taste but ate them any way. A friend told me about these sardines so I tried them. Oh my gosh! These are so scrumptious. I just love, love, love the flavor. I could eat them at every meal. I limit myself to one per day and buy 2 dozen at a time. I hope they never stop carrying them.
Sardines and some crackers, i dont leave home without them. I donI dont eat them every day but their either in my lunchbox or rattling around in the cab of my truck. Ive had the most wonderful moments of my life, when I was hungry and realized that I had some sardines and crackers. Just ate some in my boat out on the river the other day at work.
There is indeed a difference, those $1 a can Sardines seem to be junk now that I've tried these.
I love sardines! My husband does not sardines. But if we had an apocalypse surely my husband would choose sardines over sharing with the dog or cat their food. Ha ha!
These sardines are less salty than the others I have tried. King Oscar makes great products.
It is 2 layers of small size sardines in olive oil. it tastes good and the price is reasonable. Add it with a few slices of onion , cucumber, cilantro and tomatoes to make delicious and healthy sandwich.
If you want great sardines at a great price, Walmart.com has them for a price that even commoners can afford.
KING OSCAR: In Olive Oil, Two Layer Sardines. I am eating more sardines as a healthy food choice, and I like these small (two layer) sardines best of all. I like to pour off some oil, add organic apple vinegar, and dab on plenty of mustard- then enjoy! Saltines or Manischewitz Matzos (no sodium in those) go very well with these great sardines. By eating King Oscar Sardines I get Omega-3, protein, healthy olive oil, and know that sardines are very low in mercury compared to many other seafood choices. Most of all they just taste good!!
One of the cans got dented enough for the oil oozed. The box had the copper belt and the Sardines with no bubble wrap with room to move around in transit . I had the pictures on file of the stained box and the damaged can...
