It is super fast, barely gives me time to get everything ready and the water is boiling. It looks stylish on counter top. Also no plastic inside where the water touches, it is all stainless steel.

It's a little smaller than I would like, but honestly it's not a big issue. It boils quickly. I am a bit worried about the switch because it seems somewhat flimsy plastic. Well this has been used daily and sometimes multiple times in a day, since we are a tea drinking family. Good build quality and it still works the same as the day I bought it. Item this replaced(another brand) only last 6 months in our house.

The mechanisms of this kettle are inside its housing, so I'm not concerned about the build-up of scale on those more delicate parts. The only critique I would make, if I had to, is that it is a little loud, but even then, it boils fairly quickly so it's really not a bother. This is a very good, sturdy kettle that also looks great on my counter top. Very happy with my purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister gifted me a Kitchen Aid electric kettle for Christmas three years ago. We used it multiple times every day and finally burned it out. Its absence was keenly felt. When I started researching models to replace it, nothing seemed quite right — and in the end I went with an identical model to the original because I knew it worked well. We are predominantly coffee drinkers, so multi-temp controllers wasn't important; the double wall design makes me feel safe, and I appreciate the stainless steel interior. I do wish the lid opened a little wider to facilitate easier cleaning, but it's a minor detail I can live with.
I had this Kettle for 2 years and unfortunately, a week ago this kettle stopped working. I like the Kitchenaid appliances, but I feel disappointed that my KitchenAid kettles are not working the same as before. I had multiple issues with it as well.
Only after 1 year and 7 months, it stopped working. it is very short life for this product. This kettle price is no cheap compare with other company's kettle. I thought it is good product and can use longer. I am very disappointed even though I liked the design.
I bought this kettle back in Jan 2019, and the lid stopped opening. I got a replacement and after 1 year a 8 months it stops boiling water. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this. I had expected the big name brand KitchenAid that paying a premium for something would mean I am getting a higher quality product. I understand that I have gone past the 1 year warranty, but a kettle should last longer than 1 year and 8 months.
