I have only had this a month but can see it is a great asset to our kitchen. I've used it for roasting mostly, and it is even steady heat ending in a perfect sheet pan meal of chicken and potatoes with mustard honey dressing. The inside is as beautiful as the outside, print free stainless. Good lighting to peek through the glass door. Fit well in our 27”'space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used oven once but cakes came out perfect. The tops were even and uniformly cooked without having to turn the pans during cooking.
Needed a new oven after 20 years. Decided on this convection thing and love it; quiet operation. I bake bread all the time, as well as roasting and baking other things. The "proof" mode is great for rising yeast bread. Mostly I find keeping the recommended temperature the same and reducing slightly the cook time works best. Oven lights (2) and large window really allow me to see inside with confidence. Racks are flexible and easy to move. The "handle" cut into the front of the rack is helpful. Digital display didn't require a lot of trial and error; it is intuitive enough. Very happy with purchase, though the timer signal could be louder.
this oven replaced an old oven that originally came with my house. I've never cooked much to begin with but I find myself looking forward to using it more and more. I love the rack that slides, you can move it anywhere in the oven. I like that it's a convection too. The window is big and beautiful so you can really see how food is cooking. I love the inside color of blue. It does seem to take awhile to preheat but that doesn't bother me at all. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase, in fact, I like the kitchenaide products so well I got a microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor too! Everything matches and my kitchen looks brand new.
This new over replaced one we had for 15 years.We liked the controls and quiet cool down compared. However we were surprised that the broil function is with the door closed. Even our sales person was surprised when we told her. I would love to know why. There was a lot of smoke in our first grilling.
We r very satisfied with this model. It has many function. It's warm hold food. Also it bake cake and frozen pizza evenly. It's glass door does not get warm even at high temperatures ( < 450 F) . So this feature is good for those who have little one around. It's looks has made my kitchen into contemporary look. I recommend this oven to everyone. We purchased a home in oct. 2018 stuck in t 1977. The all in one wall unit was sad, needed replaced. Microwave was toast and the oven when set beyond 350 went to 500. I have always loved Kitchen Aid so we went about replacement with our home warranty. It has taken almost 5 months to make this happen. Wanted to buy made in America and Maytag is USA and KAid. Is their top of the line. My turnovers are lite and crisp. Just like bought in a top bakery. My yellow 2 layer cake is better than the bakery. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting more from such a pricey appliance. Convection is slower cooking than regular oven. I don't see browning like normal baking. You have to set temperature higher to get it to cook on temperature you want.
