[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my burr grinder for about a month, and I can't imagine ever being without it! Using freshly-ground beans yields better espresso, of course, and the digital readout makes it easy to fine-tune the grind to your personal taste. Dispensing the grounds directly into the portafilter is convenient. The included metal tamper is nicely heavy, and the machine comes with several different portafilter baskets. It is also easy to swap bean varieties whenever you wish. The slim design doesn't take up much counter space, and the device is relatively quiet compared to other grinders I have used. Highly recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this grinder. I would love to say this is the best grinder ever but I've only had one other one and it was a blade grinder. There is no comparison. A blade grinde gives you dust. This burr grinder gives beautiful consistent size of grind. It's super quiet and so easy to use. I just have it set for specific amount to grind and it grinds the same amount every time with just the press of a button. I was a little disappointed that the color doesn't perfectly match the color of my KitchenAid mixer even though they are both empire red, but the performance far outweighs my disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about one month ago and wish that I had done so sooner! No static mess, easy to use and maintain. The grind flexibility is great. If this grinder lasts anywhere near as long as my previous KitchenAid, I'd purchase a new on in a second.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from a Cuisinart that stopped adjusting grind size. The KitchenAid is much more expensive, but I am finding it worth the extra money. It is SOOOO much quieter than my old one and static free. My old grinder had so much static that I had to wait 5 minutes before pulling out the bin of grounds and then bang it on the counter to settle the grounds off the sides of the canister. The KitchenAid is very accurate and has a fine tuning on the time for grinding to get your amount just right.

It grinds the perfect amount, with a ton of custom settings, so I can grind coffee and brew immediately. It is so much quieter than my last burr grinder, that I can grind the beans even while other family is still asleep. Easy to load the coffee beans in the large top container and super easy to remove the grounds from the lower static free container. The grounds are evenly and consistently ground.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this until I used it. A setting of 12 cups drip coffee ground almost a third of a bag of coffee beans. The ground beans measured almost a full cup of grounds. I called support about this. First level support was clueless and just wanted to read me the instructions that I had already looked at. They tried to convince me that however many beans were in the hopper would always get ground until the hopper is empty. When I argued this point, they insisted I was wrong So, I asked for the next level of support. The person I spoke with told me she owns one of these grinders and assured me she could help me. She advised me to change the number of cups to 4 and leave the timer on about 50. I told her this made no sense because in my experience the grinder would run until the timer reaches zero. So, I gave her setting a try. You probably guessed it... I went through the same amount of beans! I figured out the correct "adjustment" was to divide the total default time by 4 and set the timer to about 13 seconds. Now I am grinding only enough beans for one pot of coffee at a time like I wanted to in the first place. I don't know how the engineering department decided that 1 cup of ground beans is needed to brew 12 cups of coffee. They should be made to drink that pot of syrupy coffee it woul make!
