I typically make latte's and I get great espresso shots with the double wall filter and the steaming wands works great for getting my milk frothy and warm. The machine is easy to operate and easy to clean and all the accessories are top quality. I'm very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Metal Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine and Automatic Milk Frother about six weeks ago. Like most such machines there is a learning curve, but once you get used to its unique characteristics you can produce high quality espresso drinks consistently. As always, a thorough review of the manuals will be of great benefit to your results. Both the espresso machine and frother attachment are quite easy to set up, and both are relatively easy to clean. (I recommend cleaning the frother's dispenser and feeder hose after each use.) The portafilter is heavy and built to last, and it comes with a variety of baskets to suit every need. I have gotten decent results with pre-ground coffee but since adding KitchenAid's matching burr grinder (see separate review) I have unlocked the machine's potential. It definitely does better with freshly-ground coffee. I have never been disappointed with a KitchenAid product, and I am completely satisfied with these products. Highly recommmended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid, espresso drinker, I have looked at machines over the years in between if he reviews and extensive price points I have not purchased. I have been watching this for about a year. Lots of good reviews across the Internet and the right price point that if it didn't last more than a year or two, it would not be a loss. I have only had this a month but use it every day. It will pay for itself in approximately six months. Matches my kitchen decor and is not extra large so it takes up minimal counter space. Produces great Crema and. Milk foam. Takes a little tweaking to get your settings just how you want them but worth the money if you love espresso's on a regular basis. I also purchased the grinder to accompany this in red and it is performed above expectation as well. Couldn't be happier with the matching sets. All I need is a drip coffee pot in the same color to finish my collection.

This machine is such high quality and simple to use. The warmer on top and smart sensors really help make the perfect beverage! It looks beautiful too! Very high quality stainless steel. It is also easy to clean. I entertain frequently and it is a great addition to my home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Kitchenaide Espresso machine because the wife and I was spending a lot on coffee drinks and the local coffee shops and hoped that this would help save money. First off this machine looks good sitting on my countertop. The stainless steel goes very well with the rest off my appliances. The machine is somewhat noisy, not loud but might wake up a light sleeper in your house. There was a slight learning curve with me on how to run the machine but with practice and a few bad tasting Espressos I figured it out. There are a lot of pieces to clean, so if you're lazy this is not the machine for you. On that note the Kitchenaide Espresso machine make a great Espresso. I would definitely recommend the milk frother. You can make lattes, machiatos, and other delicious drinks.

KitchenAid kept their commitment to quality once again. The machine itself, the puck, the tamper, and frothed are well made. It is important to note for anyone getting into making espresso at home that you will need more than just this machine to create great espresso drinks because it's a bit of a science or art form. After getting through my first 3/4 bag of ground coffee, I started getting inconsistent results and it continued into my second bag. The reason? Lack of control of the variables. Everything from grind size to clumps in pre-ground coffee (even when recently ground at your local coffee shop) can have an impact. I recently splurged for a nice beginner grinder and WDT tool, and these have made a major difference. All of that to say - if you're questioning getting this espresso maker - I highly recommend getting one. Just be aware there are a few other tools needed to make your experience a success: - a kitchen scale for measuring proper portions - a good conical burr grinder - a WDT tool

I have always just gone for the easy cup of coffee, but after hearing how delicious a hot cup of espresso was, I thought I would give this a shot! As I have never owned a machine like this, I was quite nervous! But after reading the manual and the Quick Start Guide, I felt more confident. Each cup I have brewed has been easier and easier! I have not yet mastermind making the cappuccino or latte yet, but that will be next! The machine is pretty simple the clean and is pretty small and doesn't take up much room on the counter next to my regular coffee machine. Plus it's stainless steal finish is beautiful!
