I give this product 5 stars hands down! I love them! Removed all the eye makeup without any harsh feeling to the eyes. Made my eyes feel very fresh and clean and was so gentle on my eyes unlike other products I have used in the past. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The Kleenex Eye Makeup Removers were effective in removing my mascara and eye shadow each night. The actual pad was a little smaller than I would have hoped for, I had to flip it over each time to have enough "clean" space to keep cleaning my eye areas. I did have to scrub a little harder than I liked as well to actually remove all of my eye makeup. I wish the formula made it slightly easier to remove the makeup without so much rubbing. On a whim, I decided to try a fiber optic mascara. What a mistake! I quickly grabbed my Kleenex Eye Makeup Remover pads and with just one pad I was able to wipe the clumpy mess off my eyes. It didn't leave behind any mascara residue, or fibers. I'm very pleased with these and they are becoming a part of my daily beauty routine! Just one more reason to love Kleenex! Oh...and the containers are so cute and you can use them for so many different things once they are empty. I love the container it comes in, it is very appealing and I don't mind leaving it out on my counter. The wipes are very soft yet very durable. They have a nice mild scent which is great because I don't want a lot of scent by my eyes. They take my eye make up off with no scrubbing needed. I like how big they are because thye are the perfect size for cleaning make up off of your eyes. So easy to use! I have sensitive eyes and have never had an issue with the product. The best eye makeup remover I have ever used. I especially like the shape, size & texture. They leave my eyes feeling clean & refreshed.
I really liked them, but I wish maybe they were a little bigger. I don't think I wear a lot of eye makeup, just mascara and a little eyeliner, and I had to use every fiber of the of them to get the makeup removed. They did leave me cleansed and felt great on my skin which can be on the sensitive but these had no irritation at all. I recommend these for everyone. I liked these a lot I didn't notice that there was too much residue on my eyes. Yes there was still some but it wasn't overly oily like some other brands are. The Kleenex Moist Eye Makeup Removers were a surprise product (I didn't have much faith in them being gentle and effective, boy was I wrong!) I did have to make a few passes, but these were able to remove my eye makeup fairly easily, without irritating my eyes. I didn't smear black mascara and eyeliner everywhere and it was really gently on my skin (no redness afterwards). I have really expensive eye makeup remover that I will be replacing with the Kleenex brand, you just can't beat the price, quality and effectiveness.
