Excellent taste! So good when cooked and I put shredded cheddar on it and bake in oven. So yummy! My kids and grandkids love it when I fix it this way. A good hearty dish to serve with pork chops for dinner. Absolutely delicious! My husband loves it as well.
Excellent rice, our families favorite. However, don't order this inline for delivery. They are not packed well, just thrown in to the box with your other stuff. More than once the bag has split open in transit and spilled. Ordering the six pack won't help as they are not packed as one, just six packages tossed in the box. Product is great but don't order online.
This side dish goes well with baked chicken and vegetables on the side. The only thing is that the instructions says use 2 cups of water simmer and stir occasionally but this is not enough you have to add at lease another half cup of water so that the rice can cook. You must use a non-stick pan, further more you can make a one dish meal by adding chicken and vegetables to it. This is great you'll love it.
Check and make sure if the product is in good condition
The past 2 times I have bought Spanish knorrs rice..The rice looks funny it has black spots on some of it a some an some of it looks really super white like it's fake..What's going on? I used to love this rice but scared to buy it anymore
Damage package
I'm not sure what this was, but it was NOT spanish rice. It surely looked like short broken spaghetti (vermicelli). I cooked according to directions--results were brown--nothing like the photo on the package. I don't seem to be able to load a photo.
I have made this a few times and have always been disappointed, but this time takes the cake. I made 2 packages and lo and behold there was NO rice in the packages at all!! None. It was labeled rice and vermicelli. Is rice too expensive for Knorr to include it in a rice dish?
CON: I didn't care for the taste. I usually like Spanish rice, but not this one. PRO: Was fully cooked in short time.
