Everything included in this kit is most useful. I'm truly impressed with the charger and the four rechargeable batteries. Having the extra set of batteries already charged and waiting is great! The tripod works well and the camera case is nice but we are using it to keep the extra set of batteries in right now. We bought another camera case at Walmart that has space for the camera as well as the batteries and memory card when they're out of the camera.
I bought this for our Kodak EasyShare CD1013. One thing you never want to do is be without batteries. This kit provides you with 2 sets of pre-charged rechargeable batteries and a charger! The slip case is a must especially if you are going to carry your camera around in your purse or pocket. The tripod...well it's a little flimsy, ok, a lot flimsy. It's a good thing I didn't buy the kit mainly for the tripod. It will be used rarely so I suppose it will suffice for our needs. Other than that this is a well priced kit.
The case is just a simple sleeve which is fine, the battery charger and batteries are a good value...if all you got for 15 dollars was the case and charger, it'd be a pretty good value. The tripod is pretty low quality. The legs don't have enough resistance to support the weight of the camera so when you put the camera on it, the legs spread to their limit and you can't really pose them any certain way. I also recall reading that the legs had rubber feet and were adjustable...they have plastic feet are aren't adjustable. But...like I said, if you just got the case and battery charger w/batteries for the price, it'd be a good value. The tripod makes it appear that you are really getting something extra...but you're not really.
This bundle is worth it only for the rechargable batteries and charger. I ended up having to buy a hard camera case, because the "bag" you receive with this bundle will not protect the camera against any traveling/amusement parks etc. FYI the tripod is about 6 inches tall, and very flimsy. Dont have high expectations for it or the camera bag, but the batteries are worth it!
Mini-Tripod : Very mini. Not very good, since the feet seem to slip occasionally when the camera is attached. Neoprene Camera Case : Too small for anything larger than a slim digital camera. As a note, a Canon Powershot A590 IS will NOT fit lol. 4 pre-charged batteries : Camera battery light flashed as soon as I put them in, but has not died after maybe an hour of fiddling. Yet. Charger : Charges. Best value of the pack, you get a charger with 4 batteries for $15. Thats what should really sell you. I would use one set of the batteries while charging the other two, so when the first finally dies, you're ready to go. Also, I would suggest charging them in pairs, or all four at once since that seems to generally lengthen the live of all rechargeable batteries.
You Get what you pay for with this product. I have found it very useful and would tell others about if they need a light duty tripod for those special times when camera shake is an issue.The extra batteries saved me when my other ones ran down...
The kit lacks instructions and tripod does not have extendable legs or rubber feet. The box says the 4 included batteries are precharged, but they barely are. Charging time is 14 hours, which isn't a problem to me, but be sure you charge the batteries before you use them.
I received this accessory kit as a bonus to the Kodak Easy Share Camera. The tripod is mini as stated in the description. The camera case can only hold the camera itself. The best part of the kit is the batteries. They are pre-charged and ready to go. My camera only need two, so it's nice having the extra two when the others are charging. The charger has indicator lights that stay on while the charger is plugged in, but they do not turn off when charging is complete, so you need to keep track of how many hours you've been charging them.
I got this product because it stated that it also came along with a memory card. After i purchased it, the memory card was charged as a seprate purchase. Which I wish I would have realized because it the was the main reason I got it except for the rechargeable batteries and charger. Which turned out to be very poor quality. I charged the batteries as long as it was said to do so. And every time I tried to use them they didn't even last close to one full day. The charger itself isnt that great either, it does not indicate when they are done so you have to remember whats time you put them in. Plus, the camera case itself barley even fits the camera, I had to stuff it in there and its very obvious within no time the seams would tear.
My expectation was to save a lot of money with the rechargeable batteries and charger in this package. My experience has been abhorent. While out of town we discovered that the (4) batteries included in the package and marked 'precharged' were all duds. After charging each set for the recommended period (18.5 hours) we found the batteries lasted only 20 minutes before our camera shutdown due to low battery. We returned the product and exchanged for another. We got the same result again!! Don't waste your efforts on this DUD!!
