Works great.
We bought two (one for each vehicle). It's great for my husband to use for work, great to have in the car in case we need to go somewhere after shopping and we can put all the dairy etc in it, perfect for travelling. Love these.
We use this for small trips to keep the children's snacks and drinks cold. Love it!
Disappointing is a nice way to write my feelings. The item is great the delivery was wonderful but the fact the original box was used, the item was left out in the open at my front door, and the Xmas gift-e beat me home from work was disappointing.
I have had Koolatrons in the past and they last along time, this one had a non working Peltier module, other wise I would have kept it. Will try and order again. Other nice thing is they are manufactured in Canada.
It's a great product we bought it over and over again. They only last about a year and a half to two years if used daily.
Initially the cigarette lighter contacts between the cooler and the desktop power supply were making a poor (high resistance) connection. As a result the connection heated up and the fan wouldn't run. Cleaning the metallic contacts between the the in-line connectors and at the in-line fuse with an eraser solved the problem. The unit's design suffers from the fact that it is very hard to open the cooler. It is workable if you use your thumbnail between the cover and base. But it is very inexpensive and it works. (runs 36 deg. F below ambient) Ship to store was economical and fast (3 days).
I bought this product great，much cheaper deal！but no AC adapter charge。
It worked ok the 1st 2 days, but seems once the temp outside was 80 all it could do was keep my drinks cool. I use this in my work truck, and all my drinks come from home refrigerator before i put them in the cooler. Within a few hours cold drinks were just coolish. Seems it be fine to keep food from spoiling but not to have or keep a drink cold. Very disappointed, almost makes me think i got sent a refurbished item that only sorta works. I would return it for a refund or a replacement but we know how much a hassle that would be. So, and still dont really know if the product just cant keep things cold or is defective. lesson learned.
Did not work first time used. Very disappointing , returned did not replace.
