i'm very happy with my purchase. i was looking for a nice, modern dresser and that is exactly what i got. very affordable, which is a nice bonus, though the price u pay is in the assembly. i'm pretty good at that kind of stuff and it took my over an hour. it was worth it, though, to get the dresser i wanted with a nice price tag. i actually ordered 2; the first was in perfect condition, but the 2nd was a little banged up. you can't tell unless you look very closely though.
We bought this product six months ago to go with the Graco Lauren crib and changing table in the nursery. Even though the color isn't thee same they go very well together. The drawers seem to be kind of little, but you can put a lot of stuff in there: 1) diapers (cloth); 2) towels and blankets; 3) sheets and mattress protectors; 4) hats, gloves, socks; 5) and we even have one to keep miscellaneous objects. It was really easy to put together. I was 9 months pregnant and assemble it almost by myself (I couldn't wait to see it); I only needed help from husband once. We really like this product.
Very nice durable product for the price. Fairly easy to assemble, but the instructions could have been clearer. Did not have to do any drilling as all the holes lined up just right. I was able to assemble it by myself. Took me about 2 1/2 hours, including sorting all of the pieces. Like others, the most complicated part was installing the drawer rails as the instructions were not very clear. I also did not use the glue that comes with it. I had a wood glue that worked much better. Great deal if you don't mind assembling it yourself. Have not had it that long, but so far I am very happy with it.
This is exactly what we expected. It is particle board, inexpensive furniture but it went together easily, all the drawers work well, and it matches the espresso baby furniture we have. My husband assembled this is about an hour and a half and had no trouble. You can't expect an amazing, solid peice for the money but the value is good, all the parts arrived in tact and the drawers are good sized. We are very satisfied and would purchase this type of furniture again. We did not purchase this for long term storage but for the baby's room or light everyday use it's great!
Drawers are very sturdy. Building the dresser was time-consuming but worth it. The final product looks like it will last a very long time. The design and look are great. The metal glides work smoothly. Installing the metal glides was the most difficult since the instructions were devoid of text and based only on illustrations. However, overall, assembly is intuitive, and the instructions, though minimalistic, are more than adequate to put this fine piece of furntiture together.
This product was a little difficult to put together, but it turned out lovely. I think it was definately worth the price.
this product looks great. it has no handles and is very stylish. the downfall is that it's not too sturdy. The backing and bottom of drawers are made of thin cardboard. could be more sturdy with some minor fabrications like putting thicker plywood on the back, but bottom line is that i would recommend this due to the style and price.
It was very hard to assemble, not very sturdy, wood cracked when we tried to move it 2 inches, and was still empty. Sadly this is the only dresser that matches our bunk bed that we purchased from walmart... I'm exchanging it, however if you are buying it separately, don't waste your time and money. It is not worth it.
I purchased this knowing it would need to be assembled, and since I have successfully assembled many items before, I thought it would be no problem. I was WRONG! First of all, you WILL need TWO people to master this (IF you master it at all) and second, BE EXTREMELY careful with all the FAKE WOOD that looks SO nice in the picture! It falls apart, tears in half, crumbles at edges etc. etc. etc. OVERALL, this was the worst mistake I have ever made in choosing an economical piece of furniture. Granted, It IS lower priced, but does that mean it should FALL to pieces BEFORE it's even assembled? Even the Walmart CSM's saw FIRSTHAND, as when they picked up a drawer to inspect, it came apart right in their hands! I will never buy another piece of furniture from Walmart again!
Absolutely, ridiculously hard to piece together. I am actually in the process of either returning the item or bringing in back to the walmart store in hopes someone can help me put it together. My husband opened up the box and was shocked. Bad directions, and billions of pieces. Not easy. If your not a builder, don't buy this product!
