As some of the other reviews said, it is somewhat confusing to construct because the instructions are pictures.. no words. Plus, on the pictures it doesn't specify which way the lacquered side faces so I'd be aware of that when putting it together.. The glue isn't the strongest... which I guess is a good thing because we had to flip one piece of ours and it wasn't hard to un-attach. Also the smaller pieces of wood are sort of flaky when you're trying to beat the nails into them. With all of that said, I'd still recommend it because it's a pretty finish and its sturdy. You get what you pay for. I thought it was a good deal.
I am very happy with this product. I bought it as a gift for my younger sister. She's in the transition from teeny bopper bedroom to young adult atmosphere and this definitely helped make that happen. The dresser looks amazing, especially for the price. Looks great! I am even thinking of buying one for myself. Took about 2 hours to put together myself. Not too bad! Would recommend this product to anyone!
As has been said before the instructions are a little iffy...not a big deal though. We used it as an in the wall dresser for an attic room we converted for the kids bedroom. We are very happy with the quality and sturdiness. Be sure to tighten all the pieces so its sound.
I didn't expect to see the contemporary style of furniture in Walmart until I found this dresser. Actually I bought the both dressers, the higher one and this one. They make a great set for my bedroom,simple and useful. The only drawback of this brand is that not all sides are painted. I can understand for economic reason but it is a dresser. The surface of unpainted part is so rough that it causes the damage to my silk clothes. I have to put a blanket on top of my clothes in the drawer to protect my clothes not to be scratched by the rough side of the upper drawer when I pull out the lower drawer to get my stuff.
Love my new dressers! I bought 3 of these dressers & put them all together to make a sophisticated look to my bedoom. Everyone loves the way they look. A little complicated assembling but overall love them.
This dresser is a very nice, inexpensive piece of furniture. If you are not a patient person or you have problems following picture instructions; this is not the item for you. If the pieces had been labeled that would have cut down on half of the assembly time. I received one damaged piece so I called the mfg. and they sent me a replacement out (in two days) with no problems. I would definitely buy matching pieces to this group.
nothign special about this dresser. Its WAY to complicated to set up... so many pieces and takes a really long time to get it together. Also, I have to make sure the pull the drawer open from the middle rather than any side or else it won't open smoothly. But for the price, I guess I get what I pay for. It also looks nice even though I can see a slight gap on each drawer to where my clothes are inside.
when the I opened up the boxes there were sooo many pieces .. it didn't take too long but when it was all put together becaus eof the way it was built the drawers don't close all the way and if you do close them then the front of the drawer falls off
Dresser is pretty much as expected. It's a bit smaller in person although its measurements were listed on the website. I wish it were taller. Slight error in delivery but it was corrected. Putting it together was quite a chore but the finished product is fine looking and very functional. Good looking piece, decent price. Would have preferred to see item in person rather than purchase through the website.
It looks great, but the instructions have NO WORDS. You have the build the entire thing with pictures and the pieces are not labeled (a,b,c) the give you stickers to label them yourself. The drawers were horrible! they did not slide in and out and the screws made the track bow out. I ended up gluing the tracks in place. Please spend more and get a better dresser. The Canopy collection is a much better product!
