I've purchased these peppers before and really enjoy the flavor, not too hot, but still has some zing, this is a very good buy, will surely buy again.
I love La Morena Pickled Jalapeno Peppers. They are crisp hot and spicey and also love the pickled carrots.
HOT HOT HOT. HOT HOT HOT. I opened the jar just to repackage it into a large jar to refrigerate. Oh, cute, nice slices of carrots on the top of the can. BOOM my lips were burning and I choked and the rocket fuel went down my throat! Actually, the vinegar is probably what accentuates the hot flavor and burn. Once the peppers are allowed to drain off in a dish, they're very tolerable for safe nibbling. The combined flavors of the pickling and the jalapeno are very, very nice. These are very authentic and true to their origin.
These are very HOT jalapenos! These are whole peppers with seeds, did I say they are HOT? Also, the ingredients listed on my peppers differs from the ones listed on this page. The can I got has no tomato puree or cheese, but it has carrots, nice surprise, and very good quality. Did I mention these are HOT?!
I selected Valentina hot sauce and was substituted pickled jalapeño peppers… horrible substitution. I would have rather been told the item was unavailable.
