I absolutely loved this product. I orginally found this on ebay a couple years ago (SAME product) since it wasnt brand name i couldnt find it anywhere else. I paid $30 years ago..its still that expensive now! So, when i came across this on walmart.com and could do 'site2store' for only a buck somethin..i snatched it up! Its the EXACT same one that i love! My lap is no longer hot. There is room for a wireless mouse next to my 15.6"wide laptop! Perfect for homework too. I would recommend it to ANYONE. And this is a GREAT DEAL. only 18..great deal! everywhere else is atleast 10more.. now, im just waiting to see if they will get more in stock (gift items!).here's hopin!
Love this lap desk. It's comfortable, laptop stays put, has a pencil tray and is a good size. Great value for the money. Only thing that could be improved is to make it a little more slanted. I have to put a small pillow under the edge to tilt it so I can see the keyboard. Otherwise an excellent purchase.
This lapdesk is perfect for my family's needs. It is made from strong yet light plastic, it has very soft and comfortable "bean bag" padding on the bottom and for the wrist rest, it has a non-skid surface so your laptop or wireless kepboard doesn't slip off, and it is well-made, rugged, and durable. There's a recessed area in the center that helps provide better airflow to the bottom of a laptop to keep it running cooler. I bought it online and when I got it, it exceeded my expectations.
I have a 17 inch Sony Vio and this was perfect for it with room to spare. Very stable and comfortable on my lap. Solid material. Great for any size laptop or use as a table to read a book on in bed. Very satisfied with this product.

He spent a lot of time hunched over with his laptop in his lap. We actually bought him two - one for home here in Nebraska and the other one to take on the road with him for use in hotels. He loves it and says he couldn't believe after only a half hour the difference he felt in his wrists!!!
This lap desk met my expectations in every way. Its lightweight and easy to travel with, It's very versatile as you can use it also as a writing or eating desl. It keeps the computer cooler and your lap, too
In looking for laptop desks, I chose this one for a few reasons. The bottom pads (two strips) have ample padding and conform nicely. Some desks have one big solid pad, but I found that they trapped the heat from the laptop and/or my legs a bit. So this one breathes better for me. The wrist pad is a very nice feature. I'm big on ergonomics, so having this really helps my wrists/hands feel better during extended use. The material of the desk is solid yet flexible -- washes quite easily as needed; I often use the desk as a dinner tray too. :) I use this desk for my 17" widescreen laptop and still have just enough room to use my small laptop mouse on the side ... just barely. But, it's far better than most of the desks which were not as wide and certainly wouldn't allow use of the mouse (which I'm very used to having). Overall, the $17 I paid for this was well worth it! It was by far the least expensive desk I found and yet still satisfies my needs.
As a self-employed webmaster and writer, I spend most everyday hunched over my laptop. After burning my legs and watching my productivity sink, I purchased this lap desk. As I've used this product for over two years and have bought three of them, I thought I'd leave some points to ponder for people. The Good 1. Keeps all heat off the lap 2. Non slip surface works great in preventing the laptop from sliding off 3. Wrist rest is nice, too 4. Wide enough so that if you have a 15 inch laptop or smaller, there is room for your external mouse next to the computer on the lap desk 5. Conforms nicely to the lap The Bad 1. I've bought three of these. Why? Because the previous two developed "leaks" aka...rips...in the fabric on the bottom, allowing microbeads to spill out all over the place. If you don't use this product for hours and hours everyday - and take care of it - this likely won't be a problem for you. But, if you're like me and do use it daily for hours on end, don't be too surprised if you haver to buy a new one within 6-12 months. 2. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the desk is a bit "flimsy." That is, it bends easily. On one of my previous desks, the plastic frame actually cracked - creating even more of a bend than what is already there. You can't get rid of the "bend," but you can reduce the probabilty of cracking the plastic by picking it up carefully - never pick it up by the end with one hand, as that is a near guaranteed way to crack the plastic frame. Summary Because this lapdesk is ideal for my uses and becausea I've yet to find a better one - I continue to buy this lapdesk every time my existing one "breaks." However, the cheapness of this thing does upset me - as I'm not wild about spending $30 every 6-12 months for a new one.
This tray is so flimsy that it bends under the weight of a laptop. Best thing I can say is that, with the rubbery top finish, your sandwich won't fall off of it. It's not good for much else!
