I recently watched this movie and I love it!! Tom Hardy is fantastic in this movie he makes the the whole movie really.
Lawless was an ok movie that showed the world of bootlegging during the time when selling liquor was illegal. The movie shows good and the bad that this world contained. The movie features Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Jason Clarke, and Jessica Chastain. The movie is actually based on a true story about the conflict that existed between law enforcement and the bootlegging proprietors. The standout from this movie is Tom Hardy, he is an exceptional actor, and it shows in this movie. Tom Hardy controls every scene he is in. I also thought that Jason Clarke who played Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf's brothers was also very good. But this movie was just average due to the weak writing and odd direction given to exceptional actors like Guy Pearce were given. I enjoyed this movie but I can not recommend it for you to purchase.
