This is a great new activity math set. My son (just turned 4) is all able opening eggs up and seeing what's inside, so this game is great. Items are package good, and the box is sturdy so you will be able to keep everything inside. Game instruction are easy to understand. However, since we received this set right after Easter my son will still into finding eggs around the house. So I have to go and hide them while he counts to 10. When he finds an egg he has to bring it to me and tell me the number on the egg, that way he can open the egg up and count the little figures inside. The eggs are bright in color and the numbers are easy to read. The only thing is when you get to 9 and 10, the little dinos are right up at the top making it a little hard to close the egg, but once shut it stays closed. Some egg can be a little hard to open but my sons likes to try to smash open the egg, so it does not bother him. This game has helped him recognized the higher numbers that he was getting stuck on. I can wait to try out some of the other suggestions with adding and subtracting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So cute, my 2 year old loves them. He loves to group them by type and match them to the bigger Dinos he has. But be careful you don't step on them. :)
There is so much to do with these 60 little dinosaurs! The 6 different dinosaurs differ in colors and postures, and come in a plastic container with lid, so the clean up is quick and easy. Our boys have spent much time playing with them, there favorite activity being dino battles. And because there are 60 of them, there can be MANY dino battles. They are a great transport size, so we'll take a few in the car for them to play with there. We have four boys ages 2, 4, 6, 8, and all of them have played with and enjoyed these dinosaurs! I received this product as part of an incentive review program.
The dinos are actually cute and they are good material

The Dinosaur Counters was just the right toys for the boys. They love dinosaurs and have learned how to recognize which type of dinosaur they are looking at from watching Jurasic Park. The set of 60 was very educational. The children can't put them down. They take them to school and to bed with them.
These are fun for imaginative play. Even for an almost 2-year-old
MY NEPHEWS WILL GIVE EACH OF US A DINOSAUR AND TRIES TO NAME EACH ONE, START COUNTING AND SAYING THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF EACH DINOSAURS.
Oftentimes young children can count from one to ten and even sometimes recognize the numeral, but they lack a conception of what that numeral means or how many that really is. This set gives parents and teachers a hands-on, tangible way for children to make that quantity to numeral connection in a fun, engaging way using dinosaur eggs and little dinosaurs that fit inside the eggs. As a child matures in his/her conceptual understanding of numerals and counting the proper objects that correspond, these dinosaur babies can be used to teach the concepts of addition and subtraction.
love the dinosaurs but I didn't recieve them in a bin just in a bag.
