We have had these for over six years and they look just like the day we got them. Very durable (4 kids plus neighborhood friends) - cans won't squish or ruin. Kids love to make up recipes with the different foods and make "fruit salad"! They're a lot of fun and very high quality.
My granddaughter loved these. great quality and perfect size
I got this for my best friend's son after seeing it on a YouTube video. He loves it! He drives us all crazy with the constant counting of the kidney beans and strawberries. His favorites! We've lost a few pieces in the house but we will find them. What would be great is if the company would sell a replacement set of the pieces. That would be a big seller!
These are a great hands on learning toy. The kids love to use them.
Nice way to learn how to count using items that look real and are familiar to the child.

This product is great for a child who is learning to count. It is a lot of fun to take the pieces out and put them back in. The only flaw is I think the cans should be made out of plastic instead of cardboard.
This was the first learning resources brand toy I ever purchased for my daughter. I stumbled upon it at my local toy store on accident looking for something else. I purchased it now knowing if I'd be able to give her all the cans right away because she's only 19mos old and it's age 3 and up but much to my delight all the pieces are rather big. The mushrooms would fit in her mouth if she put them there but she wouldn't choke on one and the carrots are the size of actual baby carrots so those would be the only maybe dangers in my eyes. Shes supervised when she plays with them anyhow. Anyways I love the idea of this toy. Usually play toy food containers are empty so having something in the cans and learning to count too is really cute. The first day my daughter pushed really hard on the bottom of one of the cans and it came loose but a little Elmers and it was good as new again. I thought the quality of the food inside was pretty decent. Since buying this toy I have bought many many toys from this brand, mostly from the new sprouts line and I have been extremely happy overall
We have had this set through 3 little girls who love to play 'kitchen'. The food has held up impeccably. The cans on the other hand have started to have the plastic laminating come loose at the rim of the cans after hundreds of time being opened and closed. Also, despite my best effort, we have lost pieces during imaginary play which sort of defeats the purpose of counting cans.
