Starring Tim Roth, the Legend of 1900 is a film about music, an extraordinary tale of a virtuoso musician born at sea. The soundtrack weighs in with an original score by legendary film composer Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad And the Ugly, the Mission, Cinema Paradiso), an original song co-written and performed by Pink Floyd's Roger Waters with guitar solos by Eddie Van Halen (quot;Lost Boys Calling,quot; only available on this CD) and period jazz and ragtime music by Jelly Roll Morton and Scott Joplin.
