The Star Wars Advent Calendar was a fun change from the City Lego Advent Calendars we've had in the past. We have four children ages from 12 - 5 years old and they all get excited to see what the next day brings. There is a nice assortment of mini-figures and mini-space ships.
This advent calendar is great for helping my son figure out "how many more days til Christmas." Now he stops asking and just looks at his advent calendar. Each night before bed he counts his little fingers and figures out how many days are left. This totally makes sense for kids - they see the days count down and know that Christmas Eve is coming. The little models in the kit are great. They vary between spaceships and minifigs. The minifigs are unique and a big surprise to find when you open the doors. I would recommend this to anyone who has kids in Elementary school. They'll love it! High quality from a top company - Lego!
I purchased this for my two boys to use this holiday season, so they have not received it yet. I plan on giving it to them after Thanksgiving. I can not wait to see their faces.... I know they will be just as excited as I was when I found it!!!!
this is an awesome product and a star wars fans dream come true. Great collecters item tooo. Santa yoda is gonna be a hit.
We were very pleased with the product. I just shouldn't have purchased it in the middle of october! my son is inpatiently waiting.
My son and I had a lot of fun with this! He couldn't wait to open them and each lego item is really neat. Perfect if your children are into star wars.
Easy to put together. A little pricey for a bunch of smaller figures but made my son smile everyday as he got to open a new character.
I purchased two of these for my Grandsons, 9 and 5, whom are Star Wars fanatics, and love Legos,...they are so anxious everyday to open the window and get the gift of the day. This is a wonderful way to let them count down the days to the BIG day, I was a little hesitant to get this as I thought they may want to open them all, however they have been patient and opened 1 per day. That in itself is worth every penny to me in teaching them to be patient. I was pleased when I found these on line as a bundle special, I saved $10.00 on each of them, have seen them selling elsewhere as much as $20.00 more per set than what I paid for them. I intend to purchase the boys one every year and have this be a yearly tradition!
This is great for the Star Wars and Lego loving kids out there. It's a great alternative to the traditional candy ones I see every year and something that my son can enjoy all year round. I have, and will continue to, recommend this to my friends and family for their children.
Got 2 of these for my grandsons for Christmas & they loved them. I think they are a bit overpriced for what you get. I was expecting a better quality in the "calendar" portion rather than it being just the actual Lego box itself.
