[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 to replace an old laptop. It came with Windows 10 Home in S Mode and has 8G Ram and 1T HDD storage. More room than I will probably use. Office 365 installed beautifully and I use it for business as well as personal use. It has a nice 15.6" screen and fits in my desk perfectly. My e-mail accounts installed right away and the mail program is fairly intuitive. Good response time on start up and changing between programs. I like it!

This laptop has a long lasting battery life, and when I say 'long lasting', I mean LONG LASTING. I can be working on homework or applying for scholarships all day and it won't die. Im so grateful to have such an amazing laptop at my grasp! I recommend this laptop to anyone who is going to be on the internet all day, and almost every day.

The screen is small, but not too small for me to play some casual video games. I have League of Legends on medium high settings and it's running great. It's a great computer for a very good price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is great. Out of the box it is lightweight, sleek, and a good feel. Fast startup with a perfect amount of RAM and HD space. Perfect for working from home along with general needs. This was an upgrade for my last Lenovo, the 330. This laptop has all the best of the 330 but at a slightly smaller size and less weight. Perfect to lug back and forth from the office.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awsome value for the money. I was able to swap a samsung 1tb 970evo nvme drive for hard drive with no issues at all. Only minor drawbacks are, no usb on right side all on left, makes a mouse use a pain. Front edge can feel uncomfortable sharp on palms over time. Some dummy designed a huge powerblock to plug directly into wall. It blocks the other outlet and falls out of the wall on older plug ins. Also they do not have drivers for linux yet. Mint/ubuntu works but you will have to use kernal 5 or higher for video card and search for and manually compile the wifi driver. Game performance beats the heck out of intel 620. Makes a nice lite gaming rig. Battery life is decent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the inexpensive price, this is a great laptop. Being a migraine sufferer,I love the anti-glare screen. I also like the fact it doesn't preload a zillion apps that I may not use. The reason it's not a 5 star review- I'm bummed it's not a backlit keyboard and the battery life seems to go down quite quickly. I've disabled OneDrive and would like to disable Cortana, in hopes to slow down the battery drain.

My only suggestion is that you will need an external speaker to truly enjoy music ( I have yet to find any laptop that does not need external speakers), but don't let that turn you away from this model because it's great.
