This is my second pair. The old pair is still working fine after 2.5 years, but I like them so much, I wanted backups. I keep the old ones as spares, which can be easily activated through the app preserving my settings.
It's been a long journey finding a set of good hearing aids. First ones years ago we paid a fortune for. They didn't even last two years. So cheap ones, they elevated sounds but didn't filter back noise. So many times I got headaches from that. Then we got these a few months ago, wow!! I can be outside in the wind, no problem, I'm not yanking them out every five minutes. I highly recommend this company.
Lexie hearing aids replaced a much more expensive Starkey hearing aid that had lasted about 8 years. They were good but the less expensive Lexie hearing aid is far superior. I am very pleased with my purchase and found the app to setup the hearing aids very intuitive even for an older man.
These work awesome! The whole process from beginning to end was problem free! All that comes with your hearing aids is plentiful! The box contains 4-5 packages of batteries, with 6 batteries in each, there's an abundance of the domes (part that is inserted in ears) in various sizes. There's also extra tubes for both l & r sides, as well as a cleaning kit. This was well thought out by the company. The instructions are precise and easy to follow. The company also offers connections to service reps to help with any issues, this along with a 45 day trial is extremely comforting since the price can be daunting. With price in mind, you'll be able to spread your payments out.
I was very pleased to have found an affordable hearing aid that really works like they say. I love them ! I love them so much that I use mine every day. Unfortunately my dog got ahold of mine when I was sleeping! But I like them so much Im going to order 2 Lexie hearing aids again. ASAP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hearing aids work great. The order process was easy and efficient. Upon receipt of my Lexie order, the hearing test and set up was quick and went very smoothly. The monthly subscription makes it a breeze to start hearing better quickly without laying out a lot of cash up front. My husband and I are both happy with this product! I've recommended these hearing aids to friends and family.
This is a good, basic, hearing aid. It is comfortable and helps me hear much better both in noisy and regular environments. I much prefer batteries to rechargable, so you can just change the batteries on the go as needed. I wish they also had blue-tooth capability so I could listen to audio books and lectures, but that feature (on the higher end model) has the annoying automatic phone capability, which creates a lot of fumbling (at least for me). Also glad this comes in tan, as opposed to the higher end bose model, which is only available in grey.
Too early to be sure that saving money with OTC is better than my experience with more expensive personal fitting by an audiologist. These aids are definitely acceptable, but need time to experience any advantages from possible adjustments. The bluetooth-iPhone pairing is a plus, but need time to assess if it makes any significant difference.
I have mild to moderate hearing loss and these work well and, for the most part, easily. Much better than the Lexie B2's which I tried previously. I like that I can adjust the environment settings without a phone. Did initially have an issue with one of the aids holding a charge, but that seems to have been resolved after sending it back to Lexie for evaluation. Note: that process took longer than it should with Lexie not providing a substitute aid for that almost 10 day period. Tech support and customer service is inconsistent. Sometimes it is very good...other times, not so much. Overall, these aids are good value.
