Great phone for the cost!

For all you who are not satisfied, remember you get what you pay for! I bought my LG620G almost a year ago from the Straight Talk site. I was diagnosed with cancer and needed a reliable phone to stay in contact with doctors labs etc. I don't keep a cell phone except for my jobs or when in school, so this is only my fourth cell phone. I wanted cheap and reliable. It has been more then I needed. I immediatly went online and purchased a 2GB memory chip and earphones for the built-in radio (can be found for less than $10 online) and an extra charge cord as the one it has looked fragile and can also be found for less than $10 online. The new one did too, so maybe that is just how they are. Actually I found a charge cord and a car charger bundle together for $12 online. Just keep searching, and remember micro USB not mini USB! I think I found earphones, other on Amazon.com link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YDV1SA. With all you accessories this little phone is a gem with texting, internet, apps games camera, video and only costs me $30.00 a month. I have not had any issues except occasionally losing internet connection if the weather is bad. It does not disconnect, just stalls a little and I reload the page. You can't toss it around alot since it is a slide phone and I have read reviews that this causes static and sometimes disconnection if the slide hinge is damaged. Otherwise all else is good. Best phone on the market? Hardly... But if you just want to be free of all the costs with other services but still need to be connected, socially or like me for a real issue. this is it. If this phone bites the dust I will replace it with the same model it has pleased me that much.

My husband is a mechanic, a clutz, and is just all around terrible to phones. in the past we have had to get him a new phone every few weeks because of him dropping tools on them and dropping them into pans full of automotive liquids and chemicals. this phone has held up for him for over 4 months now, though. the case is only scuffed but the phone still works as great as it did brand new. I'm thoroughly impressed with this model and am currently considering upgrading from my basic model (the cheap one that didnt even come with a camera that was one of the first phones released by straight talk) to this phone so i can have an mp3 or radio at work to listen to.

the phone I got was an Lg phone and it was worth the price, I paid for and much more. easy to use easy to put your minutes on, you can go online or call very simple. The best part , it is unlimited talk text and internet for the price for a month it is worth it, they have 3 different plans you can chose from best of all no contract, I love My phone .

I have went from phone to phone, network to network trying to find a phone I could actually use. Those touch screens and scroll phone just don't do it for me. I like the old fashioned phones that you push buttons to talk and text. I have had another one of these and it broke, and I ended up going back to this exact phone, because the others just didn't cut it for me. Let me tell you though, there is nothing fancy about this phone...but if you just want a good, faithful phone that works well, this is it.

Decent Signal if you get AT&T or T-Mobile service.

It should be noted that this is a GSM phone, as apposed to the other CDMA Straight Talk phones. This means that this particular phone uses AT&T or T-Mobile Network towers instead of Verizon. That said, this is a slick little phone and Straight Talk is an excellent bang for your buck!

I was finally tired of spending an extraordinary amount on cell phone contracts when I only made a few calls a day but more text messaging so I switched to StaightTalk and although the phone is not as fancy as my other LG, it does what I need it to do.

After reading all the great reviews for this phone, I decided I would purchase it. It does not live up to it's hype. Has no volume control for when you are in the car and need extra volume to hear the person you are talking to. Takes a couple of extra steps to call someone, I'm used to just hitting two buttons and now I'm up to 4 or 5. Drops calls a lot more than I did with Sprint. Is a mediocre phone. I will stick with it because I bought it and the plan is cheap, but I wouldn't recommend this phone.

this phone is so sad. when it was brand new it worked like it was supposed to, but after a few months i found out that it's the slowest, buggiest phone i've ever used. the internet will work on it for a little while, then it gets lazy and you have to restart it. it's extremely slow to respond. i can open the phone, dial a number, and hit the send key ALL before the phone even makes the "ding" sound it's supposed to make when you open the phone. it's pathetic! or i'll slide the phone open to see what time it is, and about 30 seconds after opening it, the time will finally refresh to the current time. the # button sticks. i can't clear my search history. when you try to exit the browser it takes about a minute to finally close it out. it takes horrible pictures. if the person you're taking a picture of is breathing, the picture will be very blurry. there's a ringtone maker, but it is very lousy because if you try to take an mp3 on your phone and make a ringtone out of it, you can only make it about 3 seconds long because the resulting file is too big for your phone to use as a ringtone (unless the mp3 is really low sound quality, then it can be about 10 seconds long). the only thing i actually like about it is the music player. it's pretty mediocre.

did not like the feel or the functions of the phone. will be returning it for a samsung phone which performs much better. i only bought this one because i thought it would be like the samsung phone i needed to replace which i had purchased from walmart 1 1/2 yrs ago. the text messaging does not come through in order. strange ring tones. it could be so much simpler to use.
