We dont have dish or any cabel and we like to stream old TV shows and moves. The sound is vary good
Have been looking at 4K TV for a while and when I found this one I pulled the trigger. I have nothing but great things to say. All good. I wish it had more HDMI connections. My wife is spellbound by the picture. I may not ever go outside again. easy to program. The 4K upscale is fantastic. Can't wit for 4K content to be more readily available. The on board speaker are the best I have ever heard. All around great product, well worth what I paid and got.
I have never watched TV that has dazzled everyone in the room with such a superior, clear, quick viewing experience like my LG Ultra HD 4K TV. From the simple set up, to the smart controls of the TV and the magic remote, even someone like me in their 60's has no difficulties navigating the many different features. I just watched the MLB World Series and felt like I was on the front row enjoying the sights and sounds. I kept looking around for the hot dog vendor ir was so delightful. TV shows and movies in 3D have added some fun to our household. Thank you LG for providing this quality product.
Beautiful color and the best picture quality I've ever seen! Our only complaint is that LG put the infrared sensor in the center front of the TV. When you add a high grade sound bar you cannot use any remote to turn the TV off or on.
This picture quality on this unit is absolutely amazing! It is hands down the best picture I've seen on a television screen. I brought this TV for the dual-play feature from video games and I find myself using it more for 3D movies and regular TV viewing. After watching this television it makes other non 4K television look terrible and a strain on the eyes to watch. This television will show every frame that is meant to be seen and ever detail that the camera is filming!
I love my LG Cinema 3D TV because LG did them right given the tech available. In the case of the new 4k TV's where is the Dual Link DVI port? The 4k standard supports true 120hz input but HDMI (even 1.4b and 2.0) only support 60 HZ. Please get rid of the PC port and go with Dual link DVI. This would give use true 120hz so we can do 3d from our computers and 60hz per eye and I can stop having headaches from watching 3d. Note: For those of you concerned about loosing the PC port you can get an adapter for all of 15 bucks and note the new video cards use DVI now.
Overall, for the price this 4K television had far more quality. The only area of weakness is the speakers. For that Reason, I did hook up a bose system to it. The other great feature is the 4K material available. The remote could be larger with more options. Otherwise I highly recommend this TV.
The only problem I have is with the controller, it will not align to the screen correctly, to get the arrow to the left side of the screen I have to move my arm almost completely out of my normal reach. Which I have to do every time I want to watch a blu ray movie the input side of the screen.
When it comes to displays, I like them big, clear, and with as close to perfect color matching as possible. The display on this model has great LED blacks, no green undertones or bright gray blacks with these TVs! You don't need to be a technician to navigate the inputs and outputs, and it also has an intuitive menu/settings system. Only possible downside is that it was priced high for my budget.
I bought this TV in 2014 to find out now in 2017 that it doesn't play the 4k content from Netflix. Wow disappointing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
