My smartphones are provided by the company I work for. I was very dissapointed when the company said they were no longer allowing a particular phone (non-Android OS) in its newer version. So I had a choice of other Android phones and the LG G2. After I reveiwed the G2 specs I was sold. This is a great phone and I would recommend it highly. What I like: Quad proessor response time! Great camera with lots of features. Overall a great phone.The only minor issue I have is that the keys on the LG virtual keyboard could be a bit bigger for my chubby fingers. Highly recommended.
I've only had the G2 for a couple of weeks now but I am totally blown away by it! It's everything that I always thought a smartphone could be and now it's a reality. I can't say which features that I like best, there's just too many. But everything that it does it does it exceptionally well! The phone quality is awesome. This is very important to me and you don't hear it mentioned much. But it IS a phone, right? And it is a great one. I am very pleased with everything about this phone. In a few months I may review it again but I don't see anything changing except I may have a list of favorite features by then. If you're in the market for a smartphone, look no further you have found the best there is!
Super fast processor, great display, solidly built with a fantastic camera, getting an LG G2 is a no-brainer! This phone allows you to use many voice features like talk-to-text, voice search, ie. Okay Google now etc. It has many gesture features like flip to silence and pause video when looking away, and more. There are so many customization options that I can't possibly list them all but you can change your button configuration and color, your texting themes, your home and lock screens, your menu bars, and the list goes on. The new button location is so intuitive and logical that I can't understand why no one thought of it before. It's natural to have your index finger resting there anyway so why not have the buttons there? I can't say enough good things about the G2
My LG G2 Verizon is a great phone. I have had many brands with various bells and whistles but NONE are as good as this. The G2 is STILL competative with all the latest "Big boy" models. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I absolutely love this phone and it's features. Worked great with Jelly Bean and the battery life is incredible for a heavy user like myself. Avearge between 16-28 Gigs of data a month. Battery will last all day long and then some. Recieved my Kit Kat update in April works even better but noticed a downfall of their upgrade which was I started to lose my battery life all the way down to maybe 4~5 hours then needs to be recharged. I was able to fix the issue and now she is back to Normal of 28 + hours. If you have battery issues the problem is easily fixable. First look into the battery to see if you have an app running in the Back ground called Media server. Normal rate is 3~5 percent usage. When my battery was dying quickly this was at 58 percent usage which was draining it like it was going out of style. If it is at this rate the next thing is to go into your storage card. Clear your cached data. This might clear passwords on certain apps but it is worth it. Once done reboot the phone and your on your way to being back to normal operations.
I was debating on whether to get this G2 or iPhone. I deceided on this G2. i am glad I did. I love all the features and love the phone case for it. The battery life is amazing. I only charge it every 3 days. and love the texting and call features. I have had LG phones in the past but this one is the best.
Just got the LG G2 and it is a wonderful phone. I would recommend you take a look at the preloaded apps. One of them, slacker radio, takes up about 7 GB of your memory. That is not good when it can't be removed without voiding the warranty. This is as bad as paying for cable and all the unwanted channels you get. So great product but could be much better if not forced to keep unwanted apps.
I get lg g2 before one year and it was a great phone and had a beautiful look And it work perfectly but i had a proplem with propblem with google service So thank you for this great phone [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My phone worked perfectly fine up until i downloaded this update today. I've seen more glitches and malfunctions on here then i have seen since i purchased it. Not to mention that the overall performance got bad when it used to be good. I really hope to see another update in the near future fixing all of this. I cant even download an app over wifi! I have to use my LTE. This is my second one because i had to get a new one that was used but it has worked perfectly fine since.
For the first two months I owned this phone performance was great. Phone reception is great. I live in a rural area and had very few dropped calls. Camera takes great pictures, screen is bright and colors good. After two months the double tap to wake and put to sleep quit working, a month later I could not pull down the the notifications, then the top inch of the screen became none responsive. Last week the whole screen became unresponsive for a while then it became spastic, jumping to random apps. The phone is now unuseable. As an aside, pulled sim and put it my N4, another LG product, which the G2 replaced. That phone died while listening to a podcast yesterday. I have bought my last LG product.
