Has great audio sound. Provides phone, sms text messaging, camera, and limited free web surfing. Construction seems to be adequate, not too flimsy. Cell phone plan is pay-as-you-go and no contract, and can be as low as $10 every 3 months. I'm happy with it.
I needed a low cost but reasonably sturdy phone to carry around with me on my bicycle or kayak, so far the LG has outstanding. For $30 and a cheap pay-as-you go plan from T-Moble this makes a great phone to carry around for emergencies or work which is about the only time I use it ( I hate talking on phones).
This suits my need. I like technology but don't want to be a slave to it. I hate seeing bills of $60-70 a month for a smartphone but at the same time I want to be accessible when there is an emergency. This is perfect, easy to use and it came with a free Case Logic Leather cellphone case that is of good quality too. I used my old SIM on this phone and kept the SIM that came with this package. My last load of $ 30.00 was around 1st wk of December and I haven't used up my minutes until today. Pat on the back, I feel great for saving a lot.
My husband has a phone identical and I really liked the features than my other one. When I saw it listed at Walmarts I ordered it. It is user friendly with no big fancy features. I recommend to those that are looking for just the right amount of camera & calling features. I really appreciate the long extended battery feature.
I bought this phone for my wife for Christmas and she is very happy with the choice I made. This phone is great for the price - no extra bells and whistles - but very functional for my wife's relatively low usage. Probably won't use the camera function except for those unexpected times when my wife doesn't have her camera. The only issue she came across was how to turn on an alert when text messages come in. After reading the manual, she called LG's customer service who was very helpful and she was able to change the setting. Overall, pleased with the purchase for our T-mobile pay-as-you-go plan. The phone also came with a good case for store pickup purchases, which added to the value of the purchase. While the case is technically a separate item, we are happy to have had this included.
If you want to play games on the internet this is NOT the phone for you. However, if you want to actually talk to your friends and family it's fantastic. Holds a charge for 7 to 10 days with average use. Contacts and organizer are very useful. Highly recommend for someone who wants a phone and not a pocket computer (game console!)
I was pleasantly pleased with this phone. I was looking for a phone that was cheap and did not require an additional 2 year contract upgrade. Phone has all the basic features plus some. We liked it so much we bought a 2nd for my fiancee.
I got this phone as a replacement prepaid for my 10y/o daughter. It is easy to use and she loves it. She mostly texts and calls us when home from school. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple phone to use. Great for kids.
Phone is easy to understand. The options are pretty good for the price of the phone. The set up was amazingly easy. All in all I would recommend. (Plus who can beat $15 a month unlimited texting?)
I just started using this phone, so can not really review it much yet. It is replacing a Samsung Stripe which is also a very basic phone. For the review complaining about the arrow keys not cycling through the different word choices, it took me all of about 2 minutes on Google to figure that out. My Samsung used down on the directional control for that function. On Wikipedia, it mentions that the * key is the most common one for that, and sure enough, that works on this phone. I am not used to it being in a different position yet, but it is nice knowing that it works!
