I got this phone for my kids to use to play games with. It's a good low cost phone with lots of space to download games using Wi-Fi. I downloaded an app to block out the other functions so my 5 year olds could play all their stuff and leave my phone alone. I was able to download tons of games like Minecraft, sonic and learning games. It keeps them busy and quiet and they get a chance to learn.
My husband and I ordered this for our 7 year old for Christmas and she loves it we haven't had any problems and it's very easy for her to work and we went on eBay and found a lot of really nice cases for it
I needed a new phone and already had a ST phone. This one blew my mind for the price. It is awesome! I had no trouble setting it up and I love it!
My son and friend had one of these phones they bought right after black Friday and really liked them. I needed to get a new phone and. For 20.00 I couldn't pass it up. I love it, it took a little bit of time to learn how to use it but glad I bought it. Highly recommend it.
I purchased this phone a few weeks ago. It was the best Straight Talk phone I could find for the price ($20). Overall, it's a decent phone and you won't find anything better unless you want to pay much much more. There are some definite pros and cons... The best thing about this phone is the operating system, there aren't any other phones in this price range that offer Android 5.0. Apps run smoothly and it runs on 4G, so the smartphone capabilities work quite well. It also has more memory than most phones in this price range (8G). Signal strength seem fine, accessories (cases, etc) are easy to find online. The cons- well, it's a $20 phone so you have to expect some. Call quality is not as good as other phones. It seems as though the microphone is poor quality- some people say I'm too loud or distorted when I'm talking, and I have more trouble hearing people I'm talking to than I did on my previous phone. It has a front facing camera, but the image quality is poor. Honestly, I'm still figuring out the rear camera..it seems ok- it does have a flash which is nice- there are many more expensive phones that don't offer that. I do not like the design of the power button. It is located on the back of the phone, very close to the camera lens- which means I am constantly touching the lens and have to be careful to wipe it off before taking pictures since I tend to smudge it. That is quite annoying. Overall- great for the smartphone uses, poor for talking...but DEFINITELY the best $20 phone you'll find. I think it's worth it.
I bought this after my ipod 3 was well past its time for replacement. BUT that means I had to re-learn how to use Android. That said, I'm enjoying this phone for the most part. For the price, it's kind of a no-brainer. Here are some things I wish were different: 1. The power/reset/sleep button is oddly placed - on the back of the phone (not on the edge or bottom of screen like I'm used to) between two hard-to-feel volume buttons. I mean, WHO ON EARTH thought of that?!?! Doesn't make ANY sense, but I can adapt, I suppose. 2. The first day I used this phone, I was super excited at how long the battery lasted; it was SUCH an improvement over everything I'd known. HOWEVER, that quickly changed. Within just Days, the battery charge percentage drops so rapidly, even when I'm SURE to clear any open apps! I don't know what's wrong but it honestly seems like it's not normal. I may have to contact LG or Walmart/Straighttalk about it. Additionally, charging the phone takes a much longer time with the cord they provided than I would've thought was normal. 3. Make the case easier to open - for example when you go to put your SIM card in or if you want to add a microSD card (for added memory) - there was NO way to easily open the phone up without scarring the plastic casing. This is silly, since most people buy/love their Androids primarily because they offer the flexibility of adding storage, changing batteries, etc. Anyway, for the price, it's a great phone. Will I keep it as a longevity phone? Probably not.
I bought this phone to access the internet via wifi. I have not activated it and do not plan to. It works very well and even handles some websites that my PC has trouble with. It's a good size, easy to use, and I would definitely purchase again. I got it on Rollback for $19.99 and now wish I had bought at least two. In fact I'm watching for it to be back in stock to get a second one for my daughter to play games and watch videos on. I would give it 5 stars, but it is very selective about what can be transferred to the micro SD card. It supports up to 32 gig microSD, but I think the internal memory will be full long before I utilize even half of that space on the SD card.
I bought this phone for my 12 yr. old because she wanted a better phone than my old hand-me-down, plus the price was unbelievable. Now, I know this phone is probably not the latest in technology, but she has 4G capabilities and she can do everything she wants on it. My only complaint, or really the only thing I've noticed that may bother my daughter is the signal doesn't seem to be very strong sometimes when I have full bars. However, there are no complaints from my kid, so I'm happy.
I bought this phone to replace my old straight talk phone. After I installed the battery and got everything set up to my liking... I plugged it in. The screen went to sleep and would not turn back on. I have to keep taking the back off and pulling battery out then restarting. It will not even turn on unless I pull battery!! Will be returning for different phone.
This phone is at&t even it in don't state it in the information I bought it to find out its at&t and I needed Verizon
