Bought this on cyber Monday, for my son for his first phone.... Perfect
Really the first pass for my wife using an Android phone. Set up was reasonably pain free. Coming from IOS to Android was not as big an adjustment as she thought. Far as the phone, seems to work fine...no glitches or issues yet. Nice sized display (albeit a bit big, but not like some of the other monstrosities out there). Camera and video resolution are alright for what is needed. Decent quality on both. Operation wise, Android just does not work as well as IOS, but the operation is not bad either. Just different. The good side of dealing with Android now is, there are no more bad updates to contend with from Apple. Besides, Apple has gone way out of sight on price. Overall, this phone does everything that an IPhone does and for much less cost. For the $40 on sale price, very hard to beat this phone. Have no idea why LG discontinued. The Transpyre had some of the best reviews I read for an Android phone. Go figure.

The LG transpyre has been great as a first time smartphone user. It has all the necessities I wanted in a smartphone. It has mobile hotspot which makes it great to use as a way to get on the net when me and family are out camping somewhere. Another great feature is the "gorilla" glass it has. I can't attest how good the "gorilla" glass is because I have not dropped or had anything happen to my phone to test this. It gives me that extra security that it does have this feature just in case. The phone is responsive and was easy for me to learn to how to use. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a basic or 1st time smartphone.
Very nice phone for a low price..Could use more storage.. (8Gig)You can add a SD card for your music and pics but, most apps cannot be moved to the SD card..Excellent calling , very clear and loud..Never a dropped call with Verizon
I ordered this phone online on Black Friday and picked it up in store two days later (didn't want to deal with any crowds). I've had it for almost two weeks and so far so good. The display is very clear and sharp. The features were easy enough to figure out even without reading the manual, although I always do read it. It was easy to port my number from another carrier; only took about a day. The signal is good and it's working out well. I'm happy with it and for the sale price of $29, the phone is proving to be a good deal. Even if you buy it at full price for $79, it's still a good value. If you want a smartphone that won't break the bank but will give you all of the features, give this phone a try.
Quick phone that came updated to Android 5.1 and really like the ability to replace battery in a minute if needed. The only downside is the 8GB memory that limits the number of apps that can be installed, it does have the ability to add a up to 32GB micro SD card to strore files on that does help some.
I like all the apps and the volume is really good. The touch screen is sensitive and and very usable. The battery does used up pretty quickly so I am charging it quite frequently. That's not usually a problem
Phone is VERY slow, little to no storage. Was only able to put a few apps on the phone. Was my third attempt to get a straight talk phone on version towers. Should identify service in a bold easy to find place
