Wall Mart price of $7.00 vrs. On line prices from $29.00 to $49.00 for exact same product . I was surprised at the quality light show provided that dosen't come across in advertising.
I have only had this for 2 days but i love it. I was looking for a little bigger one but this one caught my eye and so far i am very happy. The way the light gradually changes over the cracked glass gives a nice rainbow color effect. To get the best water rippling sound add a litle more water and arrange the rocks so they are not just flat on the bottom but kind of stacked off of the glass center a litle so it ripples over them. An odd extra but i have 2 4month old kittens who absolutly love this too. They lay by it now and watch it for a long time and love to play in the flowing water?!?Very satisfied for $10 hope i don't have the bad luck others have had but if i do i will exchange it for another of the exact same one atleast once.
This fountain looks great in the ad but when you open it, it is really cheap black plastic with one tiny bulb at the top and one tiny bulb at the bottom. Also, when you fill it with water, both the motor and the water falling are very noisy and the reservoir is small so you have to refill it almost every day due to evaporation from it running.
I received this item as a gift for Christmas and when I first set it up I LOVED it. Looked great in my kitchen against the tile backsplash. However, like others have said, the pump got really loud and then the fountain started leaking from the bottom! a loud pump is one thing but I had water all over my kitchen counter. I've tried sealing the leaky spot with silicone and plumber's tape but to no avail.... Sad to say I will have to try to return this one.
I used my hard earned money to buy this for my mom and after only a couple uses it doesn't work right. It is pretty cool looking when it works right but I would definitely discourage you from buying this product. I fully intend to look up this products company as I know Wal-Mart had nothing to do with the shotty craftsmanship of this product. I'm very disappointed. I just wanted my mom to feel good and have something to enjoy and make her relax.
I saw this & thought it was so cute & had a great price. At home, I ended up with an okay looking fountain with one day's operation. The changing light only lights near the top & had only two little streams of water. After a long while of trying to get this thing to work, we set it off to rest. By the time we turned it back on later that day, the light stuck to only one color & no water would flow at all no matter what we did. This is, by far, my worst decor buy ever. Unfortunately for me, I cannot find my receipt, so I'm sadly & disappointingly stuck with it.
This fountain looks beautiful from a distance but looks cheaply built up close. I however, received many compliments about it and it looks even better with lights dimmed. Unfortunately, the pump stopped working within 1 week of use. Disappointed by this purchase.
was not in good condition baught 1 as xmas gift had to retun it it was missing the pulg. ordered on on line and it was broken had to return it got something else.
I thought this would be a great "white noise" maker in my toddlers room, as well as a cool night light. I bought it for the great price of $10 and assembled it when I got home. It is true that is looks better from a distance - because it is made with less than $10 bucks worth of material - but I knew already I wasn't buying anything fancy.... Water sounded great, and the lights interchanging colors was perfect as I rocked him before bed that night. However around day 3 the pump got very loud and at not even day 5 it stopped working all together. I brought it back and got another one (same type) and it did the same thing, but in 3 days instead of 5. I just use it as a night light now - but really really liked the water sound. I MIGHT take it back to exchange for yet another, hoping three times the charm...but not expecting too much. Such a shame - that was a nice 3 days....
I purchased this fountain for my niece because she liked the crackled glass look. When I got home there were no river rocks in the box, but I had some at home so I figured it wasn't worth a trip back to the store. I agree with the other review that up close the fountain looks cheap, and the pump was fairly loud, making it hard to hear water sounds. After one day one of the lights stopped working and after 6 days the pump stopped working. Since it is now a fancy night light I will be returning this to the store. I will buy another fountain for my niece, just not this brand!
